I was just playing a Laserdisc of Dr. No with the banned audio commentary. I find it so satisfying watching old video releases of the movies with the old UA and MGM logos

I have a few old VHS Bonds. I prefer the older UA logos.

I love Diana Rigg. Easily in my top 5 fave Bond girls.

I'm assuming that's the same gun Connery's bond or Kerim Bey rather used to shoot Krilenko?

Bond finding Tracy about to kill herself. Such a great dramatic opening.

In-Movie Survey #1 of 3 for the night

Which Bond actor had the best first introduction?

I'm going to have to go with Dalton.

First introduction as in first full scene or the Bond, James Bond line?

I'd say Sean still had the best introduction. Then George and Tim.

Cinematography by Michael Reed. It would be his only go in the series and in my mind did a great job. So many great scenes with moody colors and use of shadows, I'm sure some of it is Peter Hunt's doing as well, but great regardless.

    Great colors in his film.

Love this theme song so much. No doubt at all this is the greatest Bond soundtrack of the series to me.

I find it to be the best score in the series.

First full scene/sequence. Hard to beat Connery, went with Dalton because it showed so many different elements of his Bond in one sequence. All of them really are great in establishing each actor's persona for what would be to come.

I will have to step out for a few minutes during the film to change and feed the baby. Keeping the film rolling though :)

Tough. I’d have to still say Connery, but all 6 were perfect in their own ways.

Does anyone else watch scenes like this and wish they had classy casino's anymore? I don't know if they ever did in the U.S. But watching this with couples having champagne buckets table side and enjoying a gourmet meal, while others in tux's and cocktail dresses go to enjoy some gaming.

Lazenby looks good at the gambling table. Very important quality to have in a Bond, IMO.

Yes. I once went to a casino wearing a black dinner suit. Everyone else wore flip flops and t-shirts.

I felt more Bondian than anyone there.

Lazenby and Rigg are so great in their scenes together. And Tracy definitely is the best Bond girl.

I wish people still dressed properly and fancy when going out. Even the nicest restaurants in your nearest city have baseball caps and flip flops

Notice Cubby's friend Lenny Rabin at the card table. The second of five Bond films that he appeared in.

    That’s cool! Never knew that.

That fist fight is awesome every time.

Minor annoyance/nit picking alert! It seems very unrefined how Bond piles on a massive scoop of beluga and just plops it on while dropping some of it.

One would think there could have been another take in which the caviar doesn't drop all over the place.

My girlfriend doesn't care for that part, though she doesn't seem as bothered by Sean's slap to Tatiana. Or Roger's to Andrea.

When is the last time Bond hit a woman? I can't recall Brosnan or Craig... though Brosnan shoots Elektra in the face.

Brosnan hitting Xenia on the back of her head probably.
