This may be my favorite turn Bernard Lee had as M.

Sometimes I really wish Lazenby had gotten another film or two.

Hammond, the butler, gets massacred (along with his wife) in COLONEL SUN. Has to be filmed someday.

I'd love an adaptation of that novel done.

Switzerland in OHMSS is perhaps my favorite location they’ve used in the whole series. Absolutely love all of it.

It's really quite beautiful and well shot. This, Istanbul in FRWL and Egypt in TSWLM are my faves.

Beautiful cinematography in this film. I love snowy locations.

I love how they take the time to establish the scenery with this copter ride. It makes a lot of difference to how we experience the location as a viewer. Combined with Barry's soaring score it's a winner.

So true. Barry’s score accompanies the scene so perfectly. He outdid himself with this film, and that says a lot.

The newer films seems to zip through locations so fast one doesn't get a sense of the environment and settings.

Ilse Steppat is brilliant as Bunt. Sadly died 4 days after the films release at the age of 52.

The Alpine room is so magnificent

    True. It's sad really.

Laz really wears these suits well. He looks great in this three piece.

2 Avengers girls in the same film!

I thought CR and SF made good use of location. The Brosnan years were unfortunately the worst offenders, with all the action seeming so studio bound and lacking much on location shooting

Two SCARS OF DRACULA girls as well.

Eventually they were all in a Bond film, right?
I'm not sure about that. I'll look it up. I'm only aware of Rigg, Blackman and Lumley.

Bunt is one of the series’ best villains. Very sinister.

    Great dinner scene.

She had to die. She killed Tracy.

    :))

Good call! Never saw the Joanna Lumley episodes.

Agreed. I felt CR and SF made the best use of location since probably the Moore era.

Two years earlier Angela Scowler was excellent in CASINO ROYALE (1967).

Another Bond actress who met a very tragic death. Suicide in 2011 after battling depression for years

I love this music cue and 007 is escorted to meet Blofeld.

Did you all catch the Australian broad staring directly into the camera and making a face while Lazenby is telling his story?

I 'll have to look for that next time.

Bond meeting Blofeld. Telly Savalas by far is my favorite Blofeld allowed to show his face and act as the film’s main villain. He’s terrific.

Wasn't Jenny Flex one at one time?
No, the series was over by then. She should have been though! Linda Thorson (Tara King), who played the last one from the original series was never in a Bond film.

I recommend them. They're very '70s' but great fun.

Yes, me too. There are so many great cues in this film.

Love how Bond just reuses these lines in a few minutes. Never cared much for Ruby.
