    OHMSS over FRWL. Both top tier films of course.

    MR over TMWTGG. Moore’s two weakest IMO, but I find MR a little more entertaining.

    FRWL vs . OHMSS - it's a close one for me. FRWL has occupied the #1 slot in my rankings for over a decade now and I don't see it leaving that spot any time soon. OHMSS has been constantly moving up my rankings and currently is at #3. Both exceptional class leading Bond films, but I find the 2nd Connery effort more balanced overall, and it leans closer to a classic spy thriller which is more my sort of thing.

    TMWTGG vs. MR - both sentimental favourites of mine, although I fully recognize their weaknesses. I love Rog in both, even though his approach is quite different in the two films, with a more Fleming turn in the earlier effort and a full on 'Rog' one in the latter one. The Bond girls and villains are superb in both cases too. I'd say there's a tad more eccentricity in TMWTGG and it's perhaps the more unique film. It gets the win from me here.

    OHMSS over FRWL but it’s very close.

    MR over TMWTGG. Even though TMWTGG has shot up in my rankings, MR is still one of the absolute best Bond movies of all time (there I said it).

    OHMSS (there is absolutely everything right with this one. While FRWL is a more than solid spy thriller, it still lacks the flamboyance of some of the later entries)

    TMWTGG (but only because it has fewer cringe-worthy moments than MR)

    OHMSS (close, but OHMSS just edges out FRWL)

    TMWTGG (as a whole, neither are among my favourites, but broken down, TMWTGG is much better in part)
