Archer lost its spark since Vice, if I'm honest. They started playing safe and the jokes were too watered down. Dreamland and onwards were godawful, however. They were just retelling the first four seasons in compression and the sense of humour was as funny as Amy Schumer's jokes. Bland and dull.

Danger Island had potential but was completely derailed by the same problems I referenced above. But, the final episode had me laughing a couple of times, especially with the "dem bones" jokes Archer kept making.

Not excited with the outer space setting of the final season that's due to premiere next year, though.

I'm not a sci-fi fan myself so can't say I'm overly enthused for the next season either. Really hope they can redeem themselves with S11 if we get one.

Agreed in full. First few seasons were amazing. Then Vice happened, and I could only get through a handful of episodes since. It's too bad.

The first seven seasons of Archer are terrific. My favorite animated show. I've lost count of how many times I've watched it. Dreamland was better the second time I watched it but it's still nothing special. I enjoyed the first few episodes of Danger Island quite a bit but I thought the second half of it was atrocious. Not too excited about the sci-fi plot for the next, possibly final, season either.

I gave up on the series a while back, didn't care for the ever-changing genre format. A shame, too, as it was one of my favorite animated comedies at the time. Last one I saw was Dreamland, I think.

Love the first seven seasons. Dreamland is decent. Didn't care for Danger Island past the first couple episodes.

You know that looks pretty funny. It's in line with The Orville. :))

I do hope to finish it out eventually. I haven't seen Danger Island yet but I believe it's now streaming on Hulu, I need to get around to it.

Anyone seen the tenth season: Archer 1999? Any thoughts?

Four episodes in and enjoying it, especially the opening titles and the little references to past series. Is it me or is Archer drinking less?

Only seen the first two. I like the titles as well, I always appreciate some synthy tunes. So far, definitely a step up from the last two seasons I’d say.

I have started to watch this show on Netflix. I wish I had found it earlier. I am only on the 3rd season. So many laugh out loud moments. I love the arguments while shoot outs are happening. The relationship between Mother and Archer is killer stuff too! I am dismayed to see that the newer seasons lose the edge. I will keep watching though!

How will it continue without Malory Archer? She’s second to Sterling himself as an important character!

I look forward to finding out! Only just got 11 in the UK and I've devoured it already.

First episode of season 13 has a couple of excellent Bond references, opening with
Archer in a hall of mirrors à la TMWTGG.

Is the show still that great after a dozen-plus seasons? I don't even remember the last one I saw but it felt like it was beginning to run out of ideas by that point and sort of lost its hilarious magic to me, though I've always meant to return to the newer ones to see what I'm missing.

I never came back to it after the coma seasons. Although I have rewatched some of the earlier seasons a fair bit.

I think the last one I saw was the gumshoe detective-type season surrounding a major character death fakeout thing. I'm guessing that's the coma one; the details are fuzzy to me now. I don't remember really loving it or it making an impact at all.

Give the most recent one a shot, chaps. I liked it very much. (RIP Jessica Walter.)

It's time. The show is still good but it hasn't been great since Season 7.

I was entirely hooked for the first seasons, but the ones that took place in his head just weren't as good. Still fine, but hardly as superb as the ones before. Hoping they'll go out with a bang, the series definitely deserves that :)
