And the great Bolivian sounding music

David Arnold does an amazing job on this one.

Had to back up a bit. Getting towards the climax.

I love Craig's outfit here in the desert hotel section.

Camille is as smooth as silk.

Elvis makes Boris look like Red Grant.

TBH, I don't care for the climax sequences in any of the Craig films, with the exception of SF, perhaps.

Greene puts up a good fight for Bond, but somehow he hasn't seemed like a physical threat to Bond up until now. This comes out of nowhere, and I don't buy it. I do buy the fight between Camille and Medrano, though.

At least there isn't a two chord motif repeating itself though out the climax.
    It's not overdrawn out either.

Bond confronting Vesper's main squeeze. Was this lifted from 007 in New York?
Been ages since I read that.

    Craig looks intense.

I think he should tell her to:

"Get out! MOVE!!!! And keep your hands where I can see them."

If I were Craig I would have done that in my best Connery voice just to mess up one take. That would have been funny.

Gunbarrel!!! I do like Arnold's music here far better than both of Newman's GB muisc.

Well, damn. An excellent viewing of QOS. I loved it when it came out. Yes the GB and certain other things bothered me, but I overlooked it then.

The most underrated film of the series next to LTK.

At the time I was baffled as to why it was so panned.

Craig has good chemistry with Fields as well.
I think we'd be hard pressed to find anyone who wouldn't have good chemistry with Ms. Arterton.

The first outing of the legendary Rory Kinnear as Tanner. Not to be confused with Hammer Horror actor, Roy Kinnear.

Legendary? I cannot agree with that.

But I am just piping in to add atet Roy was Rory's father.

I didn't know that. Very cool!

Watching LALD now. I have such mixed feelings about Guy Hamilton as a Bond director. To me, GF and LALD are both really good, then DAF and TMWTGG are two of the series’ weakest. Besides Scaramanga, I prefer basically everything about LALD over TMWTGG.

Man I love the title song. This film brings back some great memories.

The scene at Bond’s flat is awesome. Moore makes a perfect first impression.

I like the outfit Bond has in New York.

Tee Hee, Baron Samedi, and Kananga are all great villains.

LALD has really good rewatchability in particular. I should rank the films by rewatchability sometime.

Roy Kinnear was a beloved actor in the UK one of his more famous roles was as the hapless Planchet in the classic Oliver Reed Musketeer films. Alas Roy died during the filming of the third film, in a tragic riding accident.

LALD has the best comedy in the series.

Such a cool idea to have the callback to DN with Quarrel Jr.

That scarecrow always makes me laugh when it zooms in. It just looks hilarious. Also love Bond’s line “I certainly wouldn’t have killed you before that.”

I see. I’m ashamed to admit it but I don’t know a lot about the Bond novels.

Solitaire is probably in my Top 10 Bond girls. There is a lot of good stuff in LALD.
