    TBH, I don't care for the climax sequences in any of the Craig films, with the exception of SF, perhaps.

    Greene puts up a good fight for Bond, but somehow he hasn't seemed like a physical threat to Bond up until now. This comes out of nowhere, and I don't buy it. I do buy the fight between Camille and Medrano, though.

    At least there isn't a two chord motif repeating itself though out the climax.
    It's not overdrawn out either.

    I think he should tell her to:

    If I were Craig I would have done that in my best Connery voice just to mess up one take. That would have been funny.

    Well, damn. An excellent viewing of QOS. I loved it when it came out. Yes the GB and certain other things bothered me, but I overlooked it then.

    Watching LALD now. I have such mixed feelings about Guy Hamilton as a Bond director. To me, GF and LALD are both really good, then DAF and TMWTGG are two of the series’ weakest. Besides Scaramanga, I prefer basically everything about LALD over TMWTGG.

    LALD has really good rewatchability in particular. I should rank the films by rewatchability sometime.

    Roy Kinnear was a beloved actor in the UK one of his more famous roles was as the hapless Planchet in the classic Oliver Reed Musketeer films. Alas Roy died during the filming of the third film, in a tragic riding accident.

    That scarecrow always makes me laugh when it zooms in. It just looks hilarious. Also love Bond’s line “I certainly wouldn’t have killed you before that.”

    Solitaire is probably in my Top 10 Bond girls. There is a lot of good stuff in LALD.
