I guess (hope) this is just an ironic prank to wind up everyone who hasn't read the leaks?

    What a colossal D*CKHEAD

So another bullet (with tentacles) through another windshield?

If this is where it's going the music will have to be 1000x past just being up to muster to tread in OHMSS's hallowed footsteps. Sam isn't giving me much to feel confident about unfortunately.
  • Why is Sam Smith standing next to the coffins from Skyfall in the video for Spectre ?

What makes you think they're the coffins from Skyfall?
  • Let's hope a mod can remove that before too many people see it.

I assume the troll is just trying to wind people up with a fake 'spoiler'.

Can someone confirm what the poster said is true?

Edit: Regardless it should be deleted

No one who isn't an idiot is going to confirm a spoiler ITT

Oh great so now a confirmation or denial is in a spoiler too that points more to it being true

Can someone confirm it in a spoiler tag?

Why should they ITT? There's only one thread for discussion of leaks, which is the only possible source of such info.

Why do people want to know so badly what happens at the end of Spectre?

What are you going to do if it's confirmed true? False?

    I'll never understand...

Enough about spoilers and back to this whack song. I'm trying to understand…is the song going to be played during the title sequence or just the opening credits. I can't think of the difference?

They're the same. The opening credits play over the titles sequence, along with the theme song.

Thanks. So standard issue stuff here.

Certainly! Wouldn't expect a difference, although there's some that seem they would prefer to hear Sam Smith's song at the end of the film, and a more upbeat instrumental version of the song during the Titles Sequence (similarly to FRWL). Very slim chance (if any chance at all) something like this would happen, most likely we'll have Sam Smith during the titles sequence.

I hope he knows that some fans, love his lyrics, find them
very poignant, the fact that so many of his " Haters" like it when sung by others
must help to prove it's a good song.

I never said that. Only that "at least I don't want to push red hot knitting needles through my ears into my brain just to make it stop".

Well these unwanted posts can't be unread and have ruined any anticipation or excitement for me with some complete mongrel showing how clever they are. They had better he banned

If the song is played at the start (I think it will be), will not the tone (and perhaps the lyrics) be a spoiler in itself? It hardly cries out " hey, buckle up, this is going to be a blast", is this the most depressing Bond song ever?

I would say foreboding. Which in my book is great. This is Christoph Waltz as the big bad. Terrible things need to happen.

Yes, call it woman's intuition, but I think Waltz may not be a nice man
    in Spectre ? :D

I don't think foreboding and falsetto are a good mix. If you want foreboding, you get on the phone to T Jones IMHO, foreboding is low, powerful, deep, like the tremors of an earthquake

    That's unlucky for you then.

Yes, and many others (typed "foreboding music" into Google and failed to find any falsetto)

It has a foreboding sense of tragic inevitability to it for me. To you, it's depressing. Just two different interpretations. That's art, innit. 'Others' and 'Google' have no jurisdiction when it comes to opinion. You're starting to sound like Gustav Graves.
