    Shirley Bassey.
Personally, I feel that her best song is actually Moonraker, but that's another story.
    Slim pickings for DAF.

    Diamonds Are Forever... for me...

gotta go with the Dame, Shirley Bassey... she performed what is arguably the greatest Bond theme to date...
  • Tom Mackiewicz, John Barry or Sean Connery...I can't quite decide.

My 11/10 for this film goes to the astonishingly beautiful Jane Seymour. I know, this is a hormone driven choice but hey, who else in this film deserves it? :P

    Live And Let DieGeorge Martin

In addition to building a positively killer '70s sound for the film, Martin convinced Saltzman to let Paul McCartney perform the title song (it was already written and a demo was recorded—Martin's orchestration of the demo was what got him the gig, but Saltzman wanted a black soul performer for all the obvious reasons).

I almost went with Paul McCartney, but I'll give it to Yaphet Kotto. Kotto's Dr Kananga/Mr Big character is one of the more underated villians of the franchise.

Maurice Binder for the coolest title sequence of the 60's and 70's.

One of my fave of Moore's. I'll have to go with George Martin. All of the music was dynamic in this film. A close second with Yaphet Kotto tying with Roger, who slipped comfortably into the role.

I wanted to give it to George Martin....but he left a lot of the film unscored. Paul McCartney for sure

Paul McCartney. His song helped Moore stick the landing.

    My choice? Nobody.

As harsh as it may seem, no one really put that extra effort into making the film better. Even Barry puts in a lackluster effort here.

    GF - Richard Malibum
    TB - Luciana Paluzzi
    YOLT - Ken Adam
    OHMSS - John Barry/George Lazenby
    DAF - None

    I agree NOBODY
that whole movie looked so rushed and lackadaisal. The matte explosions, the performances, save for the elevator fight the movie was pretty bad.

George Martin definitely, his Fillet of Soul track/LALD BJ Arnau vocal is just pure 70's jazz funk/rock fusion at it's best. I never tire of LALD soundtrack.

I think it was a Chitwood again doing boat/car stunts - can anyone confirm?

I have very little to work with in this film. Even Moore doesn't succeed this time in giving me goosebumps. It's a stretch but I'll give it to Christopher Lee. He brings some dignity to this film.

    1. Terence Young
    2. Sean Connery
    3. John Barry
    4. Peter Hunt
    5. Ken Adam
    6. John Barry
    7. John Barry
    8. Jane Seymour
    9. Christopher Lee

John Barry or Christopher Lee. That's all; I really did not like this film much.

Easy. The wax figure of Bond in Scaramanga's lair. No talk, twice the charisma. ;-)
