    An easy way to fix this would be to not allow any new members to take part in an already existing game. May be a touch harsh on the genuine accounts but as @Benny said, how sad do you have to be to set up multiple accounts to cheat at a game?!

    Unfortunately the game has moved on, and it would be nigh on impossible to go back and remove said votes. It is after all just a game. Though sad that one or two need to cheat. A common practice with any elimination game I'm sorry to say.

    That's a good point @FoxRox I must make it clear that not all new accounts or players are cheating.
    I will make this perfectly clear. Under no circumstances are members to accuse or bully any new members who they may suspect of cheating or having a dual account.
    IFM or PM a moderator if you have an issue with another member.

    It would be great if only the cheaters could be eliminated; of course it's too late to take back any votes, but to prevent further ones would be nice. It might be impossible or really difficult at least, since several genuine new members come in as well. I don't know why people cheat over something so stupid.

    Just scrolling through some of these pages, and we have several new members playing who share the exact same IP address with other members.
    I'm sure it is common knowledge that dual accounts are a not allowed.
    Creating a new account to cheat at a game is sinking pretty low.

    As I said in the Villain Elimination Game thread, there are many silly people out there. Personally, I say show them no mercy and ban them without the courtesy of an explanation.

    Can members be banned from viewing certain threads? So we can stop the cheaters from playing as a punishment?

    Although I'm sure I'm not one of the infamous "new members" being discussed, I would like to point out that just because two users have the same IP address, it doesn't necessarily mean the same person has two accounts. It could be two people are using the same computer. For example, my wife and I both have our Amazon accounts, but we share the same computer. Same IP address, different accounts, different people.

    Now, my wife hasn't joined this forum (not yet anyway, I'm still trying to convince her), but if/when she does it will look very much as if I created a 2nd profile.
