  • Whatever happened to this. Did Creasy have a right response ?

It does sound like Elektra King. Guessing at the Zukofsky casino after she loses a million. The above response would seem to have it

@Wint hasn't been online since 1st November. If he's not posted a response in the next few days then, I think we should carry on with a new quote.

Sorry for the delay; that answer is incorrect.

Clue #1 - Video Games - Lana Del Ray
Clue #2 - Stakes are high/TWINE red herring
    Clue #3 - Charity event

I'll let someone else connect the dots.

Forgive me Sharky...I mean minorMajor, but it's not your turn. Gotta get @Wints quote correct first.

I was just solving Ambler's Wint's clues (they obviously relate to the videogame duel between Bond and Largo in NSNA). What's wrong with that, Benners?
  • I was giving this some more thought and still no nearer a definitive answer. Clue #3 says children but at a complete loss as to where that would fit into things. If it's not from TWINE then I don't know where it could originate from

Something keeps pointing to OHMSS, especially when Bond is at Piz Gloria, so decided to go with that and say Irma Bunt to Lazenbys Bond, but this is proving difficult to solve

@minorMajor is on the right track, though I am hesitant to pass control on to a known troll.

    ?

In any event, if it IS from Never Say Never Again, shouldn't quotes be from the official series only ? Reading the above it looks as though there's a right answer in Pam Bouvier to Bond in License to Kill ?

There must be a few 'are you alrights' in the James Bond franchise thinking back, but it would appear the right answer has already been mentioned ?

One of these silly rounds again going off in all directions, with all due respect

Says the man with PsychoBeyoncé for an avatar.
  • "Are you all right?"

Domino Petachi to James Bond after he's defeated by Largo on their first round of 'Domination.'
  • Any chance of some progress with this. This latest round should of been finalized by this time and isn't there a '24 hour' rule in this somewhere. One of the above responses has to be correct, but we'll never know if this keeps going at a snails pace

I've heard the 24 hour rule relates to how long the winner has to post the next quote. Let's move along with this. I for one am for just passing it on to someone else who is on more frequently/someone who is a loyal member in my eyes and not a troll.

The latest answer is close but incorrect.

Any more clues at this? Something to get it going along at a slightly faster pace.
  • I think there could be another ten clues @Creasy47 and we still wouldn't make any tangible progress

No offense to @Wint, I'm sure he means well..... but I've been through the clues a dozen times and they go off in all different directions with no definitive answer. I was sure @Mybodymylife had the right one, but it appears to be one of those quotes that appear multiple times in the series and it's a damn job finding where it actually fits in. I'll try this another time, as seems only going down a blind alley on this now

I even thought I had it a while back. I just feel that it's gone on for long enough that we really need some more clues or something to keep this going. If you feel more clues won't help, I say we forfeit it just to keep it moving.

Somebody already cracked the clues - a troll, no less.

Anyways, time for a less challenging quote.

We all know what bloody scene and film it is. Time to move on to @Creasy47

*sigh* let's get this rolling again.

"See that some harm comes to him."
  • Well what was the answer to the previous quote then, "Are you alright" ?

I don't even know what is going on with this now after that recent nonsense, but if @Creasy47 is leading on, this new quote would appear to be Hugo Drax to Chang in Moonraker..

At least let's restore some much needed sense and maturity to these quote rounds, if nothing else

@Baltimore_007, it looks like Wint tried to be cheeky by looking for more information, even though the quote, actors, and film were already obvious. You've got the right answer, let's get this game back to a nice, steady pace. Over to you, mate.
  • Let's push on with this within the 24 hour ruling. No messing around, or other ambiguous absurdities such as before -

    "Hit that switch there"

Bond to Goodnight in TSWLM .?

    Right idea. Wrong quote.
  • This needs to be solved as it will only collect dust in archives

    Once again,

    "Hit that switch there"

I'll provide a significant clue and disclose it is from a Roger Moore James Bond title

I don't really recognize the quote, but I'm thinking MR or AVTAK.
