    5 - The parachute stunt work during the PTS. Very impressive!

    4 - Bond's arrival in Rio. I just love the mood.

    3 - The moonraker lift-offs. Say what you will, but it was marvellous to gaze upon the real thing before the very real thing had actually happened.

    2 - Bond delta flying over the waterfalls. Barry's music comes directly from heaven.

    1 - I think he's attempting re-entry, sir. Magic!

    Being quick,

    #1 Free fall sequence in the pre credits sequence and excellent background score

    #2 Drax taking 'a giant step for mankind'. "Desolated Mr Bond"

    #3 Following Drax into orbit and lift off with Goodhead and Bond

    #4 Dufour getting mauled by the dobermans

    #5 Bond 'breaking off the encounter' with Drax' pet python. (Not a sportsman)

    5. Bond's fight with Chang.

    4. Everything involving Outer Space Including the Laser Battle. (I know it's so beyond Bond but I enjoy it.)

    3. Centrifuge scene.

    2. Boat Chase and the last encore of the "007" Theme.

    1. This one is a tie between the Pre Title Sequence and John Barry's Score. These two elements alone are what make Moonraker so good. Without them, it could have been a disaster.

    1) the death of Corinne, it shows that 007 is still working in a dark place even if it looks all glamerous
    2) The centrifuge scene which was really well filmed and exciting
    3) the boatride on the Amazone combined with the Bond theme.
    4) The biolab and the consequent fight with Chang
    5) Attempting re-entry - once more around the world

    5) The reveal of the space station - Yes, it's stupid that no one knew it was there but what a grand moment it was when we finally discovered it. I really like the lighting effect used here.

    4) Bond following the woman into the pyramid - I like the mysteriousness of it. That waterfall is absolutely gorgeous. The women aren't bad to look at either. Also, the accompanying music is my all time favorite from Barry.

    3) The fight with Chang - Too bad Bond had to kill him. Perhaps then we wouldn't have seen Jaws again. All that broken glass! How that vile of liquid in Bond's pocket doesn't break is a little suspect but a great scene overall.

    2) Did I? - One of my favorite Moore Bond moments. The delivery is so smooth. Then he just walks away like a boss.

    1) The Centrifuge - Another of my favorite Rog moments. I really like the way they used the imagery of the flashback. I also really like how Moore effectively portrayed a stunned and overwhelmed man after the experience. It's always great to see the human side to his Bond.

    1. Centerfuge - good to see Bond in genuine trouble.
    2. Fight in the glass factory is truly smashing.
    3. Jaws following Bond and Manuela, as mentioned very creepy.
    4. Balls Q? couldn't resist.
    5. Attempting Re-entry, is there a more perfect quip?

    is it just me or is the memory of Moonraker always worse than actually watching it?

    5 - Bibi in Bond's bed... A) It's a pointless and in many ways uncomfortable scene, forcing Bond to do unBondian things for starters, and B) She should have been in my b... uuuuh - scratch that remark. ;-)

    4 - One of the major 'clues' in the film follows a parrot's talk: ATAC to St. Cyrils... Blast!

    3 - The car chase where Bond and Melina escape Gonzalez' men has loads of good stuff but most of the talk inside the car is cringe-worthy.

    2 - "Mister Bond! I will buy you a delicatessen, in ..." Terrible! Just terrible seeing that wheelchair hanging under the helicopter and having Moore 'petting' the bald skull. Such a stark contrast with the rest of the film.

    1 - That Margaret Thatcher coda is stupid beyond belief.

    3: Blofeld Better not give McClory an excuse to sue me
    2: Thatcher (though when Max tosses the watch into the ocean I nearly piss myself laughing every time)
    1: Everyone who whines about Kristatos being a dull villain when he was written extremely well. Yeah, it's not from the film but from the fanbase, but I couldn't think of a fifth option... yeah the plot being spoiled by the parrot was kinda dumb but again, I find it funny.
    BONUS: Conti's score.

    hmmm tricky for me as I love this film but here goes -

    1. Back projection on the bob sleigh run, not sure why they bothered?

    2. Gonzalez's short shorts, truley shocking.

    3. The delicitasen line, does anyone know what it means?

    4. The first Bond film without Bernard Lee.


    5. One of Columbo's men looks like Keith Harris, minus Orvil.

    Geez, one of my favourites here. Let's see...

    1. Excuse me, Prime Minister- Max the Parrot is on line 1.
    2. At the villa, a henchman takes back the hard-earned money Hector gave the bikini babe. What a creep.
    3. Hans Erich Kriegler gets his motorbike airbourne... and throws it at Bond. Stamper Erich Kriegler- lay off the 'roids, mate. They're bad for you.
    4. When Wheelchair Villain tried to negotiate, why on earth didn't Bond take him up on that deal? A steel delicatessen is something Bond has always wanted.
    5. Director John Glen- for not including a scene where Luigi takes the Lotus for a spin and PUSHES EVERY BUTTON.

    #1 Taking forever and a day to get to the top of the Saint Cyril's monastery

    #2 Any time Julian Glover was on screen - what a waste of a decent acting name

    #3 The 'ambiguous' return of Blofeld in the pre titles sequence and drop down the smoke stack - Mr Booooooooooooond. Lousy.

    #4 The appearance of then British PM Margaret Thatcher and husband, in discussion with a parrot

    #5 Any moments of humor from Roger Moore - in an otherwise straight faced adventure

    1. Bibi's scenes, especially when she's in Bond's bed (the moment is so creepy that it was cut out the last time I watched FYEO on a basic cable channel)
    2. The hockey match
    3. The pointless standoff between Bond & Gogol
    4. One of the worst endings of any Bond film: Thatcher & the parrot
    5. The WORST-ever PTS: Less about Bond's revenge against Blofeld than Cubby's resentment against McClory - stupidly done in either event

    It's a pity that one of Moore's best outings was sandwiched between such pitiful material!

    This is one movie in which I really don't have big particular complaints (as I do with MR) but as a whole is one of my least favorites.

    There is no girl playing the 007 theme on a flute. Vijay (who is a man) plays the Bond theme (which is not the 007 theme) in OP.

    I really love FYEO! So not easy, but let's see, okay:

    1. Blofeld (we assume), with very fake bald piece, being dumped down the chimney thing in the PTS. Stupid.
    2. Yes, the back projection on the bobsled was very poor.
    3. Yes Gonzalez's attire at the pool, but I also name all the folks at the pool - dancing their little hearts out to that early 80's quite dated music, plenty of girls in high heels with their swimsuits, if I recall ... shudder!
    4. "I'll buy you an ice cream" - no matter how Moore tried, this line was a stinker
    5. Julian Glover pretending to be interested in actually being that character (snooze ...)

    5 - The LALD (novel) moment in the water behind the boat.

    4 - Sheena's lovely face on screen.

    3 - The tense climbing on the cliff.

    2 - The ski chase: extremely exciting.

    1 - Bond throws Loque off the cliff.

    1. Kicking Loque's car off the cliff. Moore's finest hour
    2. A film where the spy does some spying.
    3. The keel hauling sequence
    4. The underwater retrieval of the ATAC. Genuinely full of suspense and I remember being terrified as a child when the deep sea diver bursts into the room.
    5. Every scene with Colombo.

    Ah, this is easier!

    1. Kicking Loque's car of the cliff; perfect.
    2. Colombo! Love this character.
    3. Moore with Bouquet as a pair - I really liked them together; can say many scenes - in the sled arguing, being bound and dragged under the sea, and at the very end especially - so I'll just say the two of them together worked beautifully for me
    4. The climbing of St. Cyril's - I thought really well done, tense, nicely shot
    5. Bond shooting at the dune buggy that has doomed Countess Lisl. Roger had moments like this (like kicking the car off, and our early glimpse of him at Tracy's grave), that were serious and more real than usual for this particular Bond. I love Moore in FYEO.

    I could go on and on. One of my favorite films.

    2) The climbing of St Cyril monestary. 1st class stunt and action.
    3) Roger Moore chasing Loque and taking him out.
    4) Bond & Colombo
    5) the usage of the LALD scene from the book and it fit the movie so good.
    6) A drive in the country
