    5 - Jaws crushes his foot. Come on, guys, I didn't even think that funny when I was a child. (:|

    4 - Having fun with the music, are we? The "funny" music as the desert car breaks down. Almost insulting.

    3 - Some pretty poor facial expressions during the train fight.

    2 - There are moments when Barbara looks kind of... uh... not from this world. (I'm sure @Luds would agree with me. ;-))

    1 - To be fair, no matter how big a presence Richard Kiel and his character of Jaws, the very concept of teeth and jaws that can bit through steel: NO, it's too far for Bond.

    1. Marvin Hamlisch's score. It's severely dated and loaded with too much Disco. Though I give him a +1 point for paying homage to John Barry during the scene where Bond and Anya search for Jaws in the temple.

    Yeah, the scene didn't need that lame music. Almost as bad as the slide whistle.

    Now I'm struggling to find 5- TSWLM being one of my absolute favouites of the series.

    5) The recycling of the YOLT plot - I think it actually works better in this manifestation but it has to lose a few points for the lack of originality.

    4) Overall, Barbara Bach's acting could have been a little better - I'm not as harsh on her as some people are but she does come off as a little wooden at times.

    3) Perhaps Rog makes a few too many jokes in the van - One would have sufficed but let's not dissolve all the tension from the scene!

    2) Perhaps this correlates with Number 4 but when Anya points the gun at Bond near the end it just isn't very convincing.

    Best moments:

    4. Bond and Anya (before she drugs him with her cigarette smoke); I liked her throughout the movie, actually

    5) What a helpful chap - A one liner without a smile. I always like the moments when Moore's Bond is pushed to the brink and he lets some frustration out. Alas, his Bond is human after all.

    4) The Mujaba Club - I love the atmosphere. Anya in that dress! Bond is a perfect match in his tux. I like how Kalba plays both parties against each other to his advantage. The musical build up to his death is impressive. The look of absolute terror on his face when looking Jaws (death) in the eyes left me haunted as a child. Also, the first time that OHMSS is officially acknowledged.

    3) The pyramids - The visuals are stunning to say the least. One of the seven wonders of the world indeed. In the modern age of CGI overload this scene makes me smile. A perfect combination of lighting, enthralling music and suspense.

    2) Catch me if you can - The hunt is on for the Lotus and Bond is up to the challenge. The best car chase scene in the series at this point and it still holds up well today. It does come with a caveat however. Anya's bewilderment at the car transforming into a sub and then her sudden, intimate knowledge of it's blueprints is annoying but it's not enough to spoil an otherwise fantastic action sequence.

    1) The ski chase and parachute jump - Arguably the best PTS of the entire series. Perhaps even a watershed moment when many people finally recognized Roger Moore as James Bond for the first time. Might this have happened for Dalton if he had gotten a third film? What would our opinion of Sir Rog be if he had only done LALD and TMWTGG? An interesting debate but I digress.
    I was never a fan of disco but I don't care what anybody says; The Bond 77 tune is awesome! It may get a little stale later in the film but it is used to perfection here. I enjoy the whole score actually. I like that each film captures the style of the time in which it was made.

    1. PTS ski chase/jump. Didn't this jump start the trend of unique stunts in Bond films?

    2. thrilling Lotus chase sequence from start to finish. Especially with the helicopter buzzing around the Lotus like a wasp.

    3. 'Here on the Plateau of Giza...' Love this scene, with the changing lights and a menacing Jaws lurking in the shadows.

    4. Mujaba Club scene. As mentioned, the spinning dancers interlaced with Max Kalba's death is well done. But I doubt Kalba would think so.

    5. Naomi, duh.

    Honourable mentions:

    -Sandor faces gravity.
    -unlike most o' y'all, I love the disco music.
    -the rest of the film ;)

    My honorable mention would be the Lotus chase scene; I just didn't fit it in as I wanted the main theme song mentioned. But it's a great action sequence.

    3. Why does everyone hate the Bondola scene? I thought it was quite- No, you're right. It sucks.

    5) Bond punching Jaws in the mouth again - Seriously James, didn't you already learn this lesson from the last movie?

    4) All the silliness that ensues once the Bondola inflates - I actually like the part when the Bondola is in the water. Overall I think it's a good chase scene with some questionable moments of "humor" thrown in. However, we are clearly in camp territory once Bond starts driving it on land.

    3) The giant space station that no one knows about - How in the world do the super powers not know that this thing is up there? I'm not sure if it was built on Earth and then launched into space or if it was built in space but either way it's pretty dubious.

    2) Turning Jaws into comedy relief - Talk about taking all the menace out of the character. Also, in TSWLM he survived some questionable things but here they take it way too far.

    1) Jaws falling in love - Especially because it was so unnecessary to make him turn against Drax. Jaws didn't need to fall in love to switch allegiances. When he learned that he would be killed because he was not part of Drax's master race then I would find it perfectly understandable that he would fight him in the interests of self preservation. In this way he wouldn't have switched from a "bad" guy into a "good" guy. He would be just fighting to stay alive. Jaws was just recently hired by Drax so it's not like he has any long standing sense of loyalty towards him. The film wants to tell us that it's because of his love for Dolly and his fear of her getting killed that makes him fight against Drax and thus he "redeems" himself. This was a huge mistake.

    Agreed. The Bondola when in the water was actually a pretty cool and unique chase sequence. As for Bond cruising through the streets... well, the only good thing to come out of that scene was Victor's cameo.
