Sky news (well Eamon Holmes) have already speculated that its 'very near to the MI6 building.'

How long before somebody reports a slightly camp, blonde haired Spaniard seen leaving the scene?

Work is going to be a nightmare this afternoon - at least I'm not on this morning though.

Strangely, I just thought I'd see what discussions are on top - in between making a 3D model of the MI6 building. Strange indeed. My condolences go to the victims families.

    Ditto.

It looks like a tragic accident at this stage. Luckily I don't have to go into London today.

Good call. Sun headline writers surely got to go with 'Sky Fall' in the morning - especially if they can get a shot with MI6 in the background.

I actually thought of TWINE initially.

We have actually seen a helicopter falling out of the sky in the Bond universe but I can't bring myself to name the film it was in.

I wonder if the papers really will go with "Sky fall". Pretty bad taste if they do.

The crash was very near Mi6, It woke me up, first thing I thought was that it might of been the IRA until the news picked up on it and it turns out it was a lost pilot.

A bald man in a wheelchair was spotted on the top of another building.

Seriously, tragic stuff. I do hope the Royal Vauxhall Tavern isn't damaged.

BBC did a hilarious interview with some bloke who was completely rational and logical about the situation. They kept trying to steer the conversation down the 'terrorism' line and he wasn't having any of it. Wish they could vox pop more people like him rather than the shrieking idiots that never seem to be in short supply.

Just seen this on the news, awful thing to happen. RIP to those who've been lost.

EDIT: The pilot's name was Peter Barnes. He piloted helicopters in action scenes in movies Die Another Day, Tomb Raider II, The Golden Compass and Saving Private Ryan.

That is another shock, Sky news said he did work on Die Another Day, my guess is that he did the pre titles?

The British SAS illegally murdered many IRA men under Margaret Thatchers ruling without due process or under legal premises. The IRA simply wanted independence from the corrupt European Union, which I cannot blame them. England is a total mess.

Independence from European Union? #-o Think before you write anything. And then you don't like when somebody hints you might be D2K, TMB, whatever... At least have some respect for those who lost their lives in this accident

It's always a sad thing when a stupid accident like this happens, RIP.

My mate just came up with 'Vauxhall DisAstra' which I quite like but thats even worse taste I think.
I reckon they could just about pull off 'Sky Fall' as headline taste wise if the story went along the lines of:

'Yesterday London was shocked by scenes which could have been from the latest James Bond film as a helicopter hit a crane then turned into a fireball before falling to the street below all within yards of the MI6 building.'

Not great journalism I agree and rather sensationalist but this is the Sun remember.

They also had many aerial shots during the Iceland stunt scenes.

Tragic story, rumor is the crane didn't have sufficient lighting.

Yes, just like the sandyhook shootings. The CIA is a filthy organization that needs dismantled. John F Kennedy was going to dismantle the CIA, investigate the federal reserve and clean house in Washington, unfortunately my own corrupt government and CIA blew JFK's head off. America has been slowly turned into a police state and its only getting worse. Mainstream Media is owned and controlled by big government and CIA. Anything you hear on TV such as CNN or MSNBC, FOX NEWS etc... is total lies and disinformation.

No, I think you'll find that they want "Brits Out" and a United Ireland under a Sinn Fein socialist All-Ireland government. Rich of you to mention "murders" of IRA team on Gibraltar - how many MURDERS of British troops, innocent men, women children did they not commit over 40 YEARS of violence and intimidation here in Northern Ireland. To say your views are highly ignorant and offensive to those who don't back terrrorists is someting of an understatement. Unless you actually understand the situation here in Northern Ireland you'd be as well to keep your views to yourself.

Do you hoinestly mean to tell me that the La Mon IRA bombing of a hotel where people were ROASTED ALIVE was justifiable or that the Remembrance Day Bombing of the Cenotaph in 1987 was justifiable. But then when terrorists murder people, it's fine and dandy, isn't it. When the State exercises its lawful duty to stop assassinations of its military personnel, it's MURDER. If a man strangles his wife, its MURDER, when the IRA bomb Omagh killing many Catholics and Protestants, it's not MURDER? Is that what you're really telling us?

Don't make me sick. You should be kicked off this forum!

Do you guys enjoy sitting in front of you're televisions blindly believing everything you see and hear? Do you enjoy never questioning anything you are constantly fed from mainstream media? are you guys just naive because you never really had to live in the real world or hustle on the streets for a few dollars? I'm assuming most of you have had the luxury of a stable family including a mom and dad. Sadly thats not the case everywhere else, not everybody like most of you spoiled suburbanites have the same small minded naive brain functionality.

All of you are attacking me because I don't accept the lies and deceptive stories that you blindly accept to believe. Wake up , the world is a cold place .
