Well, again, this is off-topic and we can discuss this elsewhere, but I think my opinions are just as valid as yours or any other Bond fan. You make no sense. Some opinions are okay repeating but not others? Aren't we all doing that every day on here?

I love Bond movies, have for 40-plus years. Who are you?

It doesn't sound like you read it anyway, and I don't care - it's about the film, not just Craig - but if you want to get specific, respond on the blog.

    Bye.

@maxcraig He is right y'know, he's just giving his opinion.

@VeryBond Well I agree with you on Brosnan, I don't agree with you on Craig.

I don't mind SF being in London. I like the exotic locations but we do have China (well, it'll look like China), and Istanbul, and since it's the 50th and it's his home I don't really mind Bond being in London.

I am worried they'll make it too personal, I agree with you there. I do like it when Bond shows a more personal side like in LTK (especially LTK), CR or OHMSS, but I don't need Bond having a deep discussion with M about his parents.

That's my big worry: M. I'm sick of her being overused.

I think SF is looking good, but I am on the fence about some stuff. Can't wait to see it though.

@VeryBond - I respect your opinion as a fan of 40 years, my mother is particularly down on the whole Daniel Craig is Bond, so I can see where you're coming from. She has an opinion on Bond and to her, he's just not it. All I can say is, I think you'll just have to sit it out until the next incarnation. I imagine they will revert to a classic casting. However, for now, Dan is Bond and there are a lot of people excited to see this film, myself included (and I'm die-hard Moore).

Well, I don't have to read any further - you always are negative, just like people know about me, that I will be most likely be positive about anything Craig related. Still you wonder, if people oppose you. Hell - I even don't mind the fangirl label - be what you are but stay true to it and don't give it the "Oh, I am treated :(( 2 This is ridiculous. You know, what you are doing and you enjoy it on top.

One last off-topic post, hope you don't mind...

(Is anything about Bond and SF actually off-topic here?)

I wrote a column on my blog about my concerns ahead of the release of SF. I welcome anyone who cares to read it and comment: http://ruderabbit.blogspot.com/

Most of you know my opinions, but this is not a scorched-earth rant - it's a respectful piece, I think, that sincerely puts forth my ambivalent feelings. Since that kind of debate doesn't really belong on MI6 right now, I'd enjoy hearing other points of view. You can let me have it. ;)

I probably won't post anything more here until after SF is released in the US. Then I will give my 'review' just like everyone else.

Happy Bond to all of you.

I zoned out once you said Craig Bond was becoming 'fuglier'. You don't like how Craig looks, oh no, he's ruined Bond! The humorous approach of Moore or Brosnan just won't work in today's cinematic and real world landscape, oh no, he's ruined Bond! Brosnan got dumped from the role and he was my favourite, the producers must be evil, they've ruined Bond!

You don't like Craig, deal with it. However, your blog is very well written.

After watching that 10 minute clip I'm going to go out on a limb and make an announcement. I think SF is going to be better than CR. Make of that what you will but I have valid reasons fir believing so.

I'll second that, to be honest I think it had to be and I think EON knew it had to be. They've got Mendes who seems to know his Bond and Daniel is now well and truly embedded into the role. The trailers and now this 10 minute mini doc just made me smile so much, that moment with Bond and M and the garage and her comment and what he says back to her.

Nice to see Fiennes comments about the screenplay, I know he's not going to say it's rubbish but it's encouraging nonetheless,
those bits with Silva in the police uniform and the gun battle involving Bond and Mallory just class.

Also the line with Bond commenting to Severine about the beretta in her dress, also the interactions with Craig and Wishaw's Q just great. Skyfall is going to claim the genre back and Bond is going to show the young pretenders how it's done once again.

Shardlake, you hit the nail on the head.

All these pretenders to the throne are in for a rude awakening and any potential Bond director might as well use SF as a visual master lass on how to make a Bond movie. The dialogue sounds great. The beretta comment, Bond and M at the garage....I'm going to need to buy some massage oils for my face come the 23rd of this month because as I'm watching the movie I'm going to be grinning from ear to ear. This movie just looks so awesome. Honestly, Mendes knows his stuff and he either needs to direct Craig's remaining Bond movies or at least direct Bond 24. Mendes, Craig and Logan. Triple threat combo.

You have the right to give your opinion, and I do have mine so do the other members here. The difference between you(and a few others) and me and other members is we talk about Skyfall, and the debate evolves. Unlike you who are stick with the idea that Craig is not Bond because of this and because of that. The same arguments over and over again since the casting of Craig in Casino Royale. It's becoming annoying.

And as for who I am, I'm just a Bond fan like you who have read the books, have seen the movies for many years now.

And finally, you are dead wrong buddy I took time to read your blog that's why I posted the previous message.

@thelivingroyale : he's giving his opinion which is the same since Casino Royale, so it's not an opinion anymore, it's now becoming a kind of propaganda.

Okay, let's not get into who's a bigger Bond fan, or why Craig is or is not a good Bond.
This is for discussion of Skyfall trailers and tv spots.

Let's get back on topic. Thanks.

I suppose I do. Does it show a lot of new footage, or more importantly, spoilers?

Not a lot of new footage, but there's some. They don't spoil anything, nothing that you wouldn't know from the trailers, but watch it with caution. There's some new scenes with Silva that are minor spoilers, but no real story reveals.

Thanks for the heads up. I may watch it after this episode of 'The Walking Dead' and SNL tonight.

No, it's still an opinion "buddy", it's just not one you like. Who's whining here? Anyway, enough. I posted my opinion on a separate blog, I don't know how to be more respectful of your and GL's tender feelings than that.

    Enough, back to topic.

There is a brand new spot I just saw on a Global TV's website here in Canada.
Mallory's voice can be heard saying "Are you ready to get back to work" And then we have the shot of Bond in front of the "door" and he says, "With pleasure".

@BonSan007, great TV spot, thanks for the upload. But, I'm guessing this premiered with SNL the other night? If so, I wouldn't necessarily consider it a spoiler.

@BonSan007 Can you send us the link to this website with the TV Spot?

@Creasy47 You are very welcome. I wasn't sure if it fit in that category,
but it includes a strong confirmation of a pretty big rumour.
@marketto007 Here is the link. It plays as one of the ads before the SNL video. Might have to refresh page to find it. http://www.globaltv.com/saturdaynightlive/video/full+episodes/loving+couple/video.html?v=2288278459
