I cannot believe that shipping to Germany adds another $ 23.50 to the bill, bringing the total to $ 56.48. That is a bit too steep, even for this gem.

I was thinking the other day that I have waited for Moonraker so long, and it turned out to be so much better than I even ever imagined, that I’d probably pay twice the price for it! :D

Is shipping to the UK the same price?

Yes I bought from 007store as it was slightly cheaper from them in the UK last time, and it was delivered at the same time as direct from LLL.

@nsb1234 just out of curiosity, which would you consider to be your top 3 Bond scores?

ps quick question regarding ohmss what was the reasoning on placing whattitw at disc one trk4 since this did not appear in finished film at this point?

For reference, here's how the cues were slated:

1m5 Main Title: On Her Majesty's Secret Service
2m1 We Have All The Time In The World
    2m2 Try

In the film, 2m1 is unused and 2m2 is played twice.

Out of curiosity, could I ask how is the placement of certain tracks decided?

For instance why is Prelude For Guitar And Strings placed in the score presentation but Grand Christmas Eve Ball is placed in additional music? Are they both considered source music?

Possibly, but "Grand Christmas Eve Ball" is such a different sounding piece than everything else around it, it'd be jarring to have it in film sequence. The guitar piece, had it just been guitar, would certainly qualify as source, but when the strings come in, it sounds like score. We only see a guitarist in the scene and not an entire string section. :)

Lovely! Will you be doing any podcasts or anything like that about this one do you know? I remember listing to one you did when LALD/Octopussy came out and it was very interesting to hear how it came together and the ins and outs of it.

I'd also like to ask if the Amazon situation has changed anything but appreciate you probably can't comment on that!

Hi everyone! Neil Bulk here. I produced the latest Bond albums for La-La Land Records.

There's nothing on that release that isn't accounted for in some way on this release. Things may be a little different from what you heard previously, but with two CDs things don't have to be as crammed together as they previously were.

    Neil

First of all thank you Neil. Amazing editions. I bought them all. =D>
Question regarding the song Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?
    1. The French cover sung by Isabelle Aubret: Savez-vous ce qu'il faut au sapin de Noël?
    2. And the German cover sung by Katja Ebstein: Wovon träumt ein Weihnachtsbaum im Mai?
They do not feature on this edition: was it a question of copyright ? or space on the discs? Or was it simply LaLaLand wanted to stick to the English songs?

I know what I want for Christmas: A view to a Kill and Goldeneye in expanded editions :)

Let's not forget TB, YOLT, DAF, TSWLM and FYEO. In terms of score presentation in film order, there's work there to be done. ;-) But I don't want to sound ungrateful. I'm always happy with what we're given.

I wonder if Dr. No will ever get a complete/expanded score or if those tracks have been lost to time. I’ve always wanted to hear that alternate version of the Bond theme in its full glory.

I want to hear the Bond theme version from the Dr. No trailer, the one only played for a few seconds and apparently not released anywhere at all, which is weird since it's most likely a full-fledged track that someone produced.

The odds of that ever being released are lower than the odds of Bond surviving the blast at the end of No Time to Die.
