    RIP Denis, the father of my very first childhood friend. He died this morning. He was well in his 80s. My friend sadly became schizophrenic in teenage and their family never truly recovered from it.

    Thanks... I'm not devastated because he was very old and very sick (Alzhemer's disease), but it's tragic how this family suffered. My childhood friend had grown apart at some point in teenage. I always felt uneasy meeting him again when he was on medication, he was just not the same person.

    I've seen many people suffer from various diseases, a lot of them bring their share of tragedies, but mental ilnesses are the ones I fear the most.

    I agree with mental illnesses being feared the most. As someone who has a form of autism and depression, I understand that it can be difficult for other people to be around. I lost an aunt on New Year’s Day to various diseases, namely Parkinson’s. It is sometimes better to not have to see them in pain. We are here too support you @Ludovico you are one of us!

    James Cameron wanted him to play The Terminator. He decided against it because OJ was too nice of a guy in his eyes. Further shows Cameron’s poor judgement of people and people skills, lol.

    @MaxCasino, if he only knew!

    And during Norm's time on SNL, he spent a hearty amount of his Weekend Update time cracking harsh jokes about OJ being a murderer. It eventually led to a big falling out with him and Lorne/the producers, and inevitably, his departure from the show.

    Among a lot of other things, she designed Vampirella's costume, but also worked on Wonder Woman. I met her twice in the '90s, at the UKCAC in London.

    Cant believe its that long
    Watched him recently in 'The Long Good Friday', probably his finest hour, though really Bob was great in everything! 'A Prayer for the Dying' turned up on telly a few weeks ago, a not so great thriller starring Mickey Rourke as an I.R.A. killer, Bob was in it as. Priest, and as usual stole it!

    Hill as King Théoden was incredible Hill has so much gravitas in that role.

    The Two Towers is my favorite from the LOTR' movie trilogy largely down to Hill.

    Not a good time for Bernards: Bernard Pivot died.
    He was an admirer of Anthony Burgess, which I liked about him, Burgess being my favourite writer. But Pivot was also complacent (like the whole French intelligentsia) towards Gabriel Matzneff.
