  I think in some very early scripts he was intended to be Blofeld before McClory started his whole WARHEAD thing. Stromberg is pretty much a watered down version of Blofeld.
  I like him enough, though.

  Compared to some of the other villains Stromberg is one note. I much prefer Drax.

  Connery was once asked why his fight scenes were more convincing, he replied that Rogers were more rehearsed....whereas Sean went in swinging.....didnt matter if a stuntman got hit, "thats what they've paid for!" Ouch!
