OK folks, I've got 21 participants for the moment. Thanks for submitting!

I won't be able to start the count until Wednesday. For those of you who missed the deadline, you can still send me your list until Tuesday night.

One member forgot to include the unofficial villains, so I'll wait for that correction until Tuesday night as well.

    Talk to you soon, folks!
    Cheers,
    GG

Thank you @GoldenGun - I'll get mine to you tonight! :)
  • This has to be the toughest top ten to put together..
  • The results of this are going to be very interesting. I really have no idea who's going to come out on top. It should be a very impressive top 10 however the chips fall.

All right, me included I have received 20 valid submissions. That's a little bit less than last time, but we'll have a blast anyway ;)

I will need some time to count these results, and my holiday is over so that will be an after work job now.

Hope to see you all very soon for the first results!

    Cheers,
    GG

I put Brandauer in last place, but I doubt he will be the first one out.

Max Largo's a very dramatic guy and one of the maddest Bond villains of the lot along with the YOLT novel Blofeld, Max Zorin and David Dragonpol from Never Send Flowers.
  • He’s dead middle for me, but perhaps I overrated him. I haven’t seen NSNA in quite a while but I remember being pretty impressed with his psychotic performance.

Ahead of Woody Allen's Dr. Noah ? No that is a controversial opinion.
  • I like Brandauer. His Largo was very much a proto-Zorin actually. Young, confident, and suave but marked by tics, mannerisms, and eccentricities indicative of his psychopathy. Fire axes, exercise floor routines, nervous giggling. Eon may have picked up a trick or two from NSNA in designing Max Zorin beyond a shared first name. Brandauer's Largo didn't quite make my top 10, but I do find him one of the more interesting and enjoyable villains of the series.

He has at least one funny line. I find Max Largo (is it a pun on Max cargo?) just offputting, but not in the good way. Maybe he suffers extra due to the comparison with Emilio.
  • The best part of CR '67 just might be when Woody scales the wall to flee his execution by firing squad and drops down on the other side to find himself next to a blindfolded man with his hands bound.

Just a quick update, I'm halfway through the count. Looks to me as things are going to be rather close in this one.

Thank you all for your patience. :)

No rush at all, @GoldenGun, take your time. Looking forward to the round!
  • Get a wiggle on! Move your—!

Uh, I mean, yeah, no rush, take your time. If the road to No Time to Die has taught me anything, it has been patience. (It actually really has.)

I'm expecting to finish the count tonight. Sorry for the delay, but some unexpected things happened in real life that required my attention.

As Timmy D would put it: "I'm sure you understand. "

You take as long as you need to @GoldenGun there's no hurry you see. We have all the time in the world.
Besides, you've done an excellent job with previous games, why rush now?
However if this isn't real life, then...where are we?
