I love Don Stroud as Heller. Great actor.

Tim's clothes never bothered me in this film. I don't mind the loose fitting dinner suit. I prefer his black tie in the previous entry, but oh well.
Could be so much worse being 1989.
    Watch the birdy you BAStard.

I really love this film. Carey Lowell is quite striking. Oops.
Bond gets his ass kicked here.. This should be truncated compared the restored version.
    Bond effed up Kwang's operation.
I do prefer this edit, actually. It flows smoother, IMO.

Milton Krest's haircut is far worse than Bond's, IMO.

Krest blows up and it's cut right as the head expands. We lose the comedy of that hilarious special effect.

Great Bond location, Sanchez's lab. I love it and it's classic. Truman-Lodge is hilarious in this movie. Perfectly cast.
    What a legend, Wayne Newton.

The gun bullet's rendition of the Bond theme isn't as noticeable here.

The Truman-Lodge death scene is great. I really love this climactic chase sequence. Wonderful stuff here.

Great viewing. On the whole I'd say the Blu-ray's colors are superior this time.

The funniest scene in the series though is coming...............Mary Goodnight's rejection of Bond's advances.
    Here we go...............

Oh, darling, I'm tempted. But, killing a few hours as one of your passing fancies, isn't quite my scene.

    Classic!!!!!!

Bond got dissed to the max.

    For about 1 minute...

    TOMORROW NEVER DIES

Gerard Butler in a small role. I vividly recall many fans advocating him to replace Pierce back in '05. Never quite envisioned him as Bond. I thought he made a pretty good modern Dracula, though.

Jonathan Pryce remains my favorite Brosnan era villain.
    Great Mickey G sequence.
I really love second outings for a Bond actor. There's a level of excitement seeing the follow up opening night in the cinema after the first outing had been a success.
The weekend this film opened I saw it twice wit 2 different groups of friends.
We all had a blast, even though I felt this film was a tad disappointing compared to GOLDENEYE. Today, however, it's my go to Brosnan.

I miss Judi Dench as M. It's been nearly 10 years...well, 6 if you count SPECTRE.
    She was a superb M.
Just watched the Fleming Biopic, GOLDENEYE starring Charles Dance and Julian Fellowes stole the film as Noel Coward. Fellowes is great in TND.

So I had a job interview a couple weeks ago at AVIS Car Rental. I was immediately disappointed the manager and staff were wearing bright red polo shirts instead of the blazer Q sports here. I'm pretty sure I mentioned this film during my interview. I opted to pursue something else, but it was amusing to bring Bond up in a job interview.

Pierce looks damned good in this film. His hair is spot on.
I hope the next Bond actor has decent hair. I like Craig's alright, but I would like the next actor to have some length. Long enough to part and let it fall above the eyebrow as per Fleming.

Bond takes a beating. I love the fight sequences in this film. Old school and classic.

I like the fact that we really don't see the MI6 staff again until towards the end. Lately they're practically in every other scene.
This Bond film has a classic structure and stays with it. I just ripped that off of Gene Siskel's analysis of OP.
Sneaky Bond. 007 investigating Carver's offices. I love the bit where he finds the safe and Arnold's score kicks it up a notch.
    He finds this film's MacGuffin.

Brief shot of Brosnan's stitches above his lip.
This film features my favorite Brosnan BMW. Great chase scene .
Dr Kauffman is first, though in a brilliant sequence.
Bond just begins to become emotional, but clearly has no time for the waterworks as Kauffman enters.
    Great scene.

Bond is having a blast in the back seat of his BMW during this chase.
I hope the next actor brings this sense of fun to the role.

    The halo jump is impressive.
Jack Wade is the Sheriff JW Pepper for the 1990's.
Pity Daniel Craig never had his equivalent.

    Always loved the banner sequence.

Awesome Bond film. I love the stealth boat finale and how Bond flicks the P99 behind him when it's out.

    CASINO ROYALE (1967)

Taking one for the team and watching this tonight. David Niven looks dashing in that green robe and hat. Bond stuttering. LOL.
I love William Holden. John Huston's toupee is funnier than Connery's in NSNA.

Bond changes outfits to go outside with M into the garden.
Now Bond, again in a different attire is jamming on the piano.
Bond's home is destroyed and M is killed. I always knew Barbara liked reusing themes and ideas from un-official Bonds in her films. :)
    Deborah Kerr is a legend.

Time to nitpick Niven's Bondian appearance:
I really like his haircut. If you're going to rock a widow's peak as Bond this is the haircut to do it with.
Niven made a superb Count Dracula a few years later in a masterpiece called VAMPIRA also known as OLD DRACULA.
Bond bathing with Angela Scoular is pretty damned funny.

Bond wears a night hat in bed. As Deborah Kerr comes onto him here, Niven's facial expressions evoke Don Knotts.
The music is outstanding. I hope Hans Zimmer took some notes.

Niven's Bond is pretty strong. Careful, Sir James, don't get a hernia. All the ladies swoon over Niven in his nightgown.
Some wonderful sets in this Bond epic.

This car chase is funnier than the one in SPECTRE, especially with Bond's cape outfit. I love the use of the Bentley.

The set for M's office is spot on. I never realized how good it looks.
