Beautiful production crew lady with scary muscle arms.

BTW, the crew unloaded this thing from a big trailer at the same time they rolled out one DB5 from another trailer. It was this past wednesday. Judging by the movie title it could have some clue or significance. Just wanna let you guys know.

Considering how far film has come with mapping actors faces onto doubles, I'm all for the doubles. Granted, I'd never want to see a Paul Walker or General Tarkin in a Bond film, but as far as placing the leads into the action I see no problem with that especially if it means keeping Craig safe from any sort of SPECTRE sized injuries. Gone are the days of old man Roger being replaced by doubles.

The costume designer from SPECTRE just messaged me confirming that Bond and Madeleine are wearing the SAME outfits from the Morocco scene.

Slipped off the dock in Jamaica as reported.

    You’re being cute, @Tuck91 .

It was during an action chase sequence.

As others have noted, it’s clearly your first rodeo watching how a big budget film is put together.

It just surprises me that 9/10 times you have something negative to say about a film you know nothing about, nor have no grasp of how a film of this magnitude is actually put together.

Does really every single comment have to be 100% positive? Before I wrote a criticism, I also wrote something positive exactly because I didn't want to be completely negative. It seems ever that is not enough for you. No, for you, everyone all the time has to be 100% excited about NTTD...

Just talked to the man who took the photo of the grave!!! He told me the following...

“😁 No it is not Vesper. Maria Rabaioli Lipparini 😒 And Mattoli”

What does that mean? Are those names or are they translated to something? I’m an American in Texas so a little confused..

I asked him if those were new characters and he responded...

“Don’t know, only saw that grave. Many graves were present could be some random names made up for the set piece.”

Yes, could very well be just that.

So how about the news regarding the grave of Bond's old flame? There must be a reason why Bond goes to a cemetery.

Of course, but the discussion was about that particular grave, the one in the photo with a blurred name. Bond could be visiting some other grave on that graveyard.

Some additional shooting info although the italian translation looks weird. Hope it makes sense. And the same article states that Craig will join the crew for the september shoot.

    CLOSURE FOR IDRIS CHURCH
"The Coop. Beyond the Art it communicates that, to allow the filming of the film "007 - No time to die", the church of Santa Maria De Idris in the Sassi of Matera will remain closed on 26 - 27 - 28 August and on days 10 - 11 - 12 - 15 September.

Furthermore, on 8 - 9 - 13 September, the closure of Santa Maria De Idris will be brought forward to 18.30."

She designed the costumes from Spectre so if she says those are the outfits she designed and made in the DB5 scene, I believe her.

Bridge jump and DB5 could be completely different scenes.

No proof Madeleine dies in the PTS.

Who knows until we see craig and Lea onset or get better images from the DB5 scene.

What? That's ridiculous. He's wearing a tie in the DB5 and, surprise, is the same.

Bond and Madeleine are not wearing the same clothes from SP. They just share more or less the same color palette.

    @Tuck91 ...

Bow down to me?... uh, okay?... Why would anyone want to do that, other than @Risico007?

5/10 is a generous score you gave yourself.

Criticism is good, when there's something to criticize.

And what do we have to criticize thus far that we know will be in the film?:

We have a title (some liked it, others didn't. You?).
We have a locked cast (what's your take?).
We have DB5, V-8 and Valhalla making appearances (does this upset you? Or make you happy?)
We have a brief summary of the film that is as vague as vague can be; Bond is not on active service when Felix Leiter comes to him needing his help. Which leads Bond hot on the trail of a mysterious villain who's armed with a dangerous new technology (so?...).

Other than that, Tuck, we only have:

A behind-the-scenes look at Jamaica (and all it tells us is Bond will drive a jeep, carry a harpoon gun, there will be an explosion, and Daniel Craig looks cool as hell).
Looks like some of this may take place in Cuba (we hear there's action here as well-- but, really, that's not been verified).
Maybe/perhaps/likely a new 007 (I like what kind of humour and tension this will bring; still not verified (but likely)).
We have video of some driving stunts (some have the DB5, as we saw today; others have the Volante. What does it mean to the story? We have guesses that it could involve a wedding...... or...... a funeral...)
We have some pics and footage going all the way back to Norway (that shows a man in a mask limping and seemingly chasing after young Maddy. Or is it her clone? No, it must be someone related to Maddy... in the end, all we do is have fun guessing)

Outside of the above? More conjecture. What very little has been leaked, we are just having fun putting it together... But that's all there is at the moment.

No one is bowing to EoN.

And only @Risico007 bows down to me.

So, I'm obviously not understanding what your point was, other than, what exactly are you critisizing?

Another old flame is M but why would they bury her there?
Why would Lynd be buried there?

There’s no logic reason as far as we know. But still if they want to come full circle with CR she seems the most poignant choice, from an emotional standpoint.

It would make more sense if it was Lucia. We don't know what happened to her, and she is italian.

Vesper died in Italy, even if quite far from Matera. Maybe Bond spent some time with her in Matera during their Italy trip and wants to come back. Sounds like a stretch, I don’t know. Lucia is Italian, true, but why paying homage to her? After they spent just a night together?
Because he pretty much guaranteed her safety, after she spilled the beans, telling him the location of the SPECTRE meeting? She's a loose end, and a tombstone with her name on it, is a nice way of tying things up.

    She carries no narrative weight.

She does, if Bond visiting her grave, is what leads SPECTRE to find Bond, because they have her grave under surveillance. How many casual moviegoers remember Vesper Lynd?

It could also be Swann. Everyone is assuming that it takes place in the beginning. But if Swann dies there, it would make sense for Bond to visit the grave by the end of the movie.

In the bridge scene Bond wears the same clothes than during the car chase. Since the cemetery is one minute by walk from the bridge the supposed “visiting an old flame” scene is logically going to take place in the PTS while Madeleine is alive.

Just because it's close by, it doesn't mean anything. Many of the locations in southern Italy are several kms apart, but will look like it's the same place. Gravina, where shooting will also take place, is 30 kms from Matera.

There are so many things we don't know yet, but slowly the puzzle comes together. Is Bond wearing the same suit in the graveyard as on the bridge? That will prove something. But what about all the other confirmed things that are going to happen there? 1200 extras? Visiting a tomb, etc...

Thank you for teaching me how basic movie magic works. For a minute I really believed the Blenheim Palace was really in Rome back in 2015. I was so pissed when I found out Palazzo Cardenza wasn't in Rome*...

BTW look at this pic. Do you really think those two sequences are not connected? Ok.

@matt_u, you're absolutely right, the colour palette of the outfits is similar, but that's about it. The outfits are very very different from the SP ones. Bond is now wearing a suit or at least a blazer. I can't see the tie in the DB5 film, but it's definitely the same jacket and shirt. Can't understand why some people are convinced the outfits are the same. Clearly Jany Temime is wrong. She should take the similarity in palette colours as a compliment, sure, but nothing else.

Also, the cemetery is clearly in close proximity to the bridge, too close for it to be a coincidence. Also, as anyone heard from the guy that took the photos? About who's photo that is?

PS: I'm still hoping that awful burgundy tie with the windsor knot was a decoy and it's not in those scenes. A bege suit with a blue shirt is cool. Cool enough.

Pretty much. Seeing Pierce Brosnan in Hamburg last year made my decade already. Meeting Daniel, live on a Bond production of all places would be just... I don't even have words for that yet lol...

Don't get too excited but I remember Sassilive reporting that a dialogue scene involving Bond will take place in that church. So Craig's presence sounds likely...
