    I will sincerely be surprised to see Craig in another James Bond film following this one. I have said in the past that I don't bet, but this as close to a for sure thing that I'd put my house on it.

    I think if Craig didn't get injured the chances of him returning for a 6th film would have been higher but I just really don't see him coming back especially after the amount of times he has said Bond 25 is his last.

    Also with the amount of time it's taken to get Bond 25 made and how many problems they've (which by the way I don't will effect the outcome), but I think after all this Craig will stick to his guns on this one and call it a day, especially if the film feels that way narratively.

    The perfect way out is simply adapting the end of the YOLT novel, where Bond has amnesia, but recognizes something that reminds him of his old life and he sets off to explore it. That way Bond isn’t killed, and Craig could either call it quits on a good note or return if he really wanted.

    I absolutely think this story closes the narrative. This will be a fitting end.

    And, as far as EoN being finished with James Bond? All I can say to this was, I was given an emphatic "not happening" when I asked my lead if there was any truth to the rumours that BB and MGW would sell after B25. Shaking his head, my friend said it's their family business, and his friend Gregg Wilson was taking on more duties as he's groomed to take over his father's position by B26.

    Now, anything can happen of course, things can change, but I was told this several times within the last eight months-- I think I had even posted this on the very day I met this person (so it's somewhere on this site).

    Happy to hear, thanks for the info @peter, even though I would never doubt for a second that they would hand over this franchise. A family business through and through.

    You did reveal it immediately. I can attest to that. And I was happy for it. As I am right now. It's a family business, and should remain as such. Good for them. Good for us ;)

    Why because they aren't making the Bond film you want? Well here's the thing Bond isn't yours, yes we are fans but these films were never just made for an exclusive audience.

    Many have got on and off this adventure over the close to 60 year length and when the ones so hurt by this idea have jumped off, they'll be plenty willing to join the ride.

    I can't speak for everyone but the last place I'd want Bond to end up with is Disney. It's good to hear it's remaining a family business, as it should be.

    I hope a teaser trailer comes sooner than later. August definitely seems like a long enough time since filming started.

    You're a little more confident than I am. If B25 is a hit, and Babs gets in DC's ear, as well as CJF's...who knows. I would not be shocked to see another go with these two. Money always talks. But then B26 would need a quick release: 2022.

    But overall, I agree: I think DC is walking after this.

    I’m thinking DC will wait to see the final product and general critical/fan reception before deciding on the next one. He has said in interviews he wants to go out on a high note — basically admitting that Spectre was a bit of a disappointment.

    Craig is in the unique position to do something none of the other Bond have been able to do--go out on a high note. EON tried to lure Connery back for LALD, AVTAK was the poorest of Moore's film and his personal least favorite, Dalton got screwed over by all the legal crap and Brosnan was certainly expecting to return at least once more before EON decided to reboot. Craig knows he's not getting any younger, and it doesn't help that it seems to take longer and longer to get these films made these days. It certainly feels like EON are pulling out all the stops to really tie everything together and make this a fitting sendoff for Craig.

    Based on the current disappointment with the BOND 25 production, surely Daniel Craig is already resolving to return in BOND 26 to set it right and truly end his tenure on top. Heh.

    I don't think he will be back then again Babs loves him. DC is probably going to be the new Roger Moore Bond be almost 60 but it can be done . I personally think he should be done after this one.

    It would help my enthusiasm enormously if I would find this Young balck Woman more attractive. The Imagination of Bond trying to seduce her makes me cringe.
    And why would Bond be baffled? It´s not like he expects to win them all, if you remember Thunderball.
