I wasn’t planning on seeing any of the sequels. Most times I just skip out on those when it comes to horror films. One notable exception is the Scream series though, which I enjoy every movie in.

X-men decided to rewatch all the FOX Xmen films, the first is good and one of the best films in the series, I certainly prefer the original cast they were far better developed.

Another great X-Men movie. Worthy way to finish the series. This doesn t tie in to the original timeline, so now you know.

Yes it's a good film. A downsized action drama despite the cosmic basis. When a movie says a lot without too much words and complexity means we are in for something good. I really loved the way the movie deals with the theme of traumatized people and the ways to cure the patient. For a superhero film in 2019 to question so directly and stridently how important rebellion is to morality is something special.

Probably why it doesn t do so well. It is very dramatic. I like how it is different to the other installments. They are all very much their own thing.

X2 still one of the very best Comic Book movies ever made, in my rewatch I see only a few Xmen movies challenging this though already I think this is the best of the lot.

Saboteur 1942, one of my favourite Hitchcock Hollywood films, I watched this hundreds of times in my youth on VHS. I have owned the Universal Hitchcock Bluray boxset for several years though not got round to having a watch through all the films in this format. Saboteur looks fantastic this film never fails to capture my imagination.

I heard people don t want to see it because it is a feminist movie. Utter nonsense. There is one sentence at the start of the film that some deranged hysterics may take the wrong way.

I thought that line fit very well within the context of the film and I actually agreed with the character who said it. She has a point after all. However, if Disney actually goes the extra step and renames the team then it will be perceived as PC nonsense, which it should be.

Curious to see what they do with it. It is a few more years before we find out.

Getting X-Men and Fantastic Four into the Marvel Universe is a good thing now that most of the characters one cared about there before are finished.

Was it too dark and gloomy? There is absolutely no humour in it, which might turn people off.

The line about X-Women was nonsensical though its brief, I enjoyed the tone of the film personally. I would have been happy to see another thirty minutes added to the film, I hope on the dvd we get the option to watch the origanal ending or aspects of it though Disney may not allow that.

The Aliens were the Skrulls, the ending was a battle in Space too similar to Captain Marvel

I liked Dark Pheonix well enough. I didn't think it was a particularly good film, but I enjoyed it all the same. If you like the other X-Men films, you'll like this one too. If you didn't, you probably won't.

Yes. Not a cinematic masterpiece in any way, but a good comic book movie like all the others.

The Omen (1976). Got to see it for my first time. A truly excellent horror film and exceeded my expectations.

That movie gave me chills as a kid and still does, the score especially. Some of those scenes and images will forever be burned into my brain.

    Batman Beyond
I am watching the rebirth episode because I don’t own return of the joker and meh if they were gonna do a film it would likely be based on this instead of that so anyways
    Negatives
    1. A personal issue I hate seeing hero’s fail I understand why we had to see Bruce retire but I still hate seeing it
    2. I dislike the somewhat grumpier Bruce Wayne he reminds me of Millers take way to much
    3. Dislike how terry just stumbles on the cave
    4. The episode was a little slow in places
    Positives
    1. I love the suit in terms of redesign
    2. Terry is an interesting character I know people consider him a robin but in my view he is as much Batman as Bruce is
    3. I have no idea who would be cast in the roles but even the side characters are more fleshed out then the one dimensional characters you find in later animated series
    4. Even though I am Jokered out I kind of like a street gang in Gotham’s future called the Jokerz and I am also thankful they didn’t use that gimmick with every villain

    Over all a

    North By North West.

Quite overrated in my opinion. I was expectimg more based on the reputation this movie has.

The ending is way too rushed. They are both in mortal peril, and literally 60 seconds later the movie is over.

Thst being said, some of the shots are quite nice, and Cary Grant is brilliant.

Got to enjoy a theater showing for Forrest Gump’s 25th anniversary. I’m still a baby when it comes to the sad parts in this film, and can relate to some moments more than I’d like to. It’s a wonderful film.

Xmen The Last Stand the films glaring issues are even more blatant on this rewatch though the film does have some great moments. The film does fall flat after Xaviers death, I struggled alot with the final act.

Two scenes I think they should have included...

    Toy Story 4.

I didn't want this movie, but now I have seen it theres no reason they couldn't keep going. This feels like the franchise has a second wind, and more stories to tell with the "toys to life" concept. I think it might be the most adult Toy Story yet, and yet still funny as hell, and not slow at all. Very impressive and satisfying watch.

I saw it yesterday and I feel the same way. However I feel it took on a new character overload and the original loveable characters took a backseat
