In the early 2000's, I used to drive a 1990 VN Commodore which looked pretty much exactly like this, except with deep 5-spoke alloy rims:

    http://petesmedia.com/vn/800/DSCN1075.jpg

I haven't driven for many years now, and catch public transport everywhere- but I plan to buy another car at some point down the road...

Back in the late 80s, I sat in a Formula 1 race car, but unfortunately the photo is somewhere at my parents house. I also vaguely remember seeing KITT from Night Rider at the '88 World Expo in Brisbane. I don't consider myself a petrol head, but I have a keen interest in vehicle design and technology. I'm not sure what my definitive dream car would be, but I love muscle cars the most, and would love to own a Pontiac Trans-Am, Firebird or Camaro circa. 70s-80s.

Vettel must be pissed, as he is sitting in the same car while his team mate wins. Has the world champion met his match?

Vettel looked like being one of the greatest f1 drivers of all time after winning 4 world championships in a row,but ricciardo has out driven him so far.

    Nice occupation.

Up my street there´s a father-son team who every now and then have some old grandeur parked in front of the house and are tinkering on it. I saw a Rolls, a Maserati, and one or two others. Apparently they fix and sell them. I haven´t made any fotos yet, unfortunately.

Nice new bond car....2014 Bentley Continental GT3-R
Capable of reaching 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.6 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.8 secs), the GT3-R is a Grand Tourer with the performance of a racer.

I hope I´m not blapheming, but that Ferrari reminds me more of a transformer than a sports car.

It does look like a transformer. It's not the most stylish ferrari they've ever made but i'd sure like to see it tested on top gear.

I don't follow the new Transformers, but Dark of the Moon had a red Ferrari 458 Italia named Dino. He spoke in an Italian accent, of course :))

    2014 McLaren F1 Tour
Among the great tours of the motoring world is the McLaren F1 Tour.

The tour is organized by Ray Bellm who manages the official club for the McLaren F1 owners with support from McLaren Automotive.

This year they used the picturesque Province of Siena or Sienne Italy and used the incredible hotel Borgo Santo Pietro in Chiusdino, Tuscany as homebase

This would have been a great bond car back in the mid to late 90's.

    Great scenery.........

Read (a lot) about the plane featured in the opening of Octopussy and it's recent modern adaptation.

That plane was amazing in Octopussy and to see it still being used 31 years later is unbelievable.

Let´s start with a more easy question:
At first sight, I´d say the white color looks amazing. But when I take my time, I´d take the blue-grey from the last picture.

Looks damn fine with four doors, but the two door version looks just too badass. The four door version maybe as an additional, so that the family is happy they also fit in?

I'll take the coupe, it looks so much better. Not a big fan of the Rapide's gaping grill, but I agree that the blue-grey paint looks very nice. I was just thinking the other day that I'd like to see Bond's new Aston in a paint scheme other than the usual grey/Silver Birch. The blue-grey is subtle enough, but I'd also welcome a white one- we haven't seen Bond in a white car since '81, I think. British Racing Green would be sweeeet.

Just heard the news that Max Verstappen will drive in Formula 1 in 2015... and he's only 16 years old, which will make him the first underaged person to drive in F1. Absolutly extrodinary, he is not old enough to pass his driving licence or to drink alcohol but he will drive the fastest race cars on the planet and be classified as part of the greatest drivers on this earth.

He'll be 17 by the time he races in F1.
His dad used to race in F1.
He drove for bennetton with michael schumacher as his team mate in 1994 and other teams after that.
    He wasn't very good.

16, 17, what does it matter if he´s got the chance to give it a go at the F1. Amazing. I wish him good luck and a solid character.

He's too inexperienced to race in F1 next year in my opinion.
He should be a test driver for at least 1 year before racing with the big boys.
F1 cars are so much more powerful than the cars he's driving at the moment.......
