Hey, @Dragonpol. I think we are done.

May the tenth be with you.
  • For months the poor cat gnawed on that lab-grown regenerating corn cob—gums bleeding, tongue raw, teeth dislodging—wondering when the cruel Lord Draggers would finally release it from this living nightmare. A fate worse than chained Prometheus and his regenerating liver, methinks.
  • John Gardner decided to stop writing James Bond novels after the one with the cat-and-corn torture scene. That was just a step too weird for Bond. Even his Bond. Even his 90s Bond. And there was just no reason the cat of all characters should be quoting poetry.
  • I will keep going until you stop me.

    Said the cat.

    Also, me.

Have you heard the one about the cat tied to a corn on the cob who loves baseball?
His favorite player was Ty Cobb.

Blofeld's cat was doing his own nine-eyes program, gnawing his own corn-er of the internet.

    corny enough?
  • And this is how the SARS epidemic began.

Judging time - sorry again for the delay but all of the entries were excellent!

    In third place, @Some_Kind_Of_Hero with:

John Gardner decided to stop writing James Bond novels after the one with the cat-and-corn torture scene. That was just a step too weird for Bond. Even his Bond. Even his 90s Bond. And there was just no reason the cat of all characters should be quoting poetry.

    In second place, @Thunderfinger with:

"I said I want some mice, not maize! Damn!"

And in first place @CommanderRoss with:

Waiting for popcorn? do I look like I give a damn?

So there you go, @CommanderRoss, you're next!

Oh, I see. Just thought as an IMDb refugee you weren't yet fully familiar with our general madness here. Good to see that you are!

No, no...it was on the level of "Alzheimer's patients always meet new people", I admit.
