    You're allowed to skip a field if you don't want to disclose something, of course. I have no problem with revealing it. Why should religion be a filthy thing?

    Fair enough, but I'd just noticed a lot of people skipping it, and I was wondering what relevance it had anyway. Most people these days are non-religious or only nominally religious, so I don't see the significance of it being included in this survey.

    Well, noone is forced to fill out every detail. And religious views is not the only thing treated with various degrees of seriousness. I see no big difference to things like the name of each person, some don´t mind giving their real name, some prefer not to. Free country brother ;-) .
