I can't believe you're still up. Stay strong. The end is nigh.
  • You shouldn't have trouble falling asleep during the Dalton films, they're too damn good. Best of luck!

When you've been awake for over 42 hours they could be the best films ever and I might fall asleep. Haven't done yet. Half way through Licence to Kill now - should be starting Goldeneye by about 8am.

...And that's the end of the Dalton Bond era. 8.05am Sunday morning, onto Brosnan in Goldeneye.

9.30am Sunday and we're on the last 40 mins of Goldeneye.

Just made a start on Tomorrow Never Dies - killer pre-credits sequence. Whether you think Goldeneye is the strongest Brosnan outing or not, this is still an engrossing pre-credits action piece. I'm excited every time I watch it :-)

And Hugh Bonneville will pop up towards the end.

Jonathan Pryce really does ham it up on screen - his big "villain" speech - "there's no news like bad news" direct to camera is incredibly cringey.

Since you have been documenting your marathon, I would recommend you use it as evidence for a Guiness World Record! I really would!

I'm looking into how I can do this. I think you need to register early to put an idea forward for Guiness World Records but I'll definitely give it a try.

My longest video review yet from this marathon where I go on a bit about Goldeneye and what the film could have been like. Feel free to agree/disagree.

There is a page in every Guiness book that takes you step by step how to apply. I am big fan of the Guiness books, and have been collecting every edition since 2006. It would be great to see you in the "Film and TV" section- "FASTEST TIME WATCHING ALL 26 BOND FILMS CONSECUTIVELY", "Jamesc26, of (INSERT COUNTRY HERE), managed to watch all 26 Bond films, including the "Everything or Nothing documentary" in 48 hours, non stop.

Sounds good to me, and I guess you get a certificate to show it's official. Will give it a go and send off an application tomorrow after I've finished the marathon.

About 20 minutes left of The World is not enough before I have to remind myself of how dire Die Another Day is! World is not enough review coming here shortly.

As Gustav would say, "You only get one shot at the ultimate Bond marathon. Why waste it on sleep?"

We're about 20 mins from the end of the Brosnan Bond era, meaning that the end of the marathon is in sight. Just 3 Daniel Craig movies to go!

Surely you must be losing concentration by this point, getting fatigue, motor functions breaking down and stuff. But the end cannot be far away...
  • You should be almost done with Casino Royale by now, right? Only two movies to go!

Surprisingly I'm not. Had a little lapse of concentration this morning watching Goldeneye but have been fine otherwise. About half way through Casino Royale now - it's poker time and Vesper's beautiful purple dress.
