    Love the trailer. That's got to be the longest delivery of B....J.....B in history. Quite a confident and menacing delivery if I may say so. Like he really means business.

    It's going to be great, no doubt, but I must admit I prefer the people/acting scenes, no matter how brief, to all the action stuff with the plane/cars etc. I'm getting a little action fatigue these days. It's on the people front (including convincing delivery of lines etc. - note Waltz, Craig & Christensen's elocution in the trailer for example) that Bond will differentiate itself from all the popcorn CGI FF7 pretenders for me.

    Im with you on this, I want more dialogue. Lttel Gem moments like Bond and M in Skyfall when they are talking about his abituary are too and too few between.

    After 50 years it never occured to me it could be read in any other way. Really great.

    Minor observation. I hope they clean up the colours in the snow sequence, looks a bit yellow.

    My spies and eyes within Pinewood have revealed to me that today they are filming...
    the sequence where the helicopter crashes into Westminster Bridge. They have indeed built a huge replica of the bridge there.

    Yes! Glad it wasn't just an impression. It reminded specifically of FRWL, which makes me even more excited. I haven't read the script and I don't intend to, but people's opinions on it worried me a lot. Now I think I might me able to enjoy the movie.

    Well, I know people who loved it and I know people who disliked it, and they worried me a bit. But I waited until I could make my own opinions and now I'm fine with the direction they're taking. I'm trusting EON with my eyes closed.

    I certainly loved the script, and after seeing the TV spot I'm more excited than ever. This movie is going to be truly spectacular, in every sense of the word.

    The October script was the old script. The new one, which people are probably referring to, with the huge changes for the 3rd act, is from early December.

    And yes... judging from that script, it has the potential to be amongst my favorite Bond movies. The unknown factor here is Thomas Newman.

    You guys say Lea and Craig are in a lift. Given how it moves, given how light moves, I'd rather say it's a train - which would send us back to the glory days of From Russia With Love or The Spy Who Loved Me.

    Is it known which parts of the SPECTRE script were rewritten by P&W?

    Personally, I've never really had an issue with their screenwriting... sure, they have written some bad stuff on their own, but I feel like they get unfairly blamed for a majority of things that they do not even have control over:

    - Apted having his wife revise, rewrite and rework parts of the TWINE script,
    - Tomahori's obsession with CGI
    - Haggis rewriting the finale to Casino Royale,
    - Foster throwing out Purvis and Wade's QOS script and having it rewritten.

    Agressive fear mongering? Could you possible be more demagogue? I have said many times that I believe the movie will be good, possibly great. Yes, I am far from satisfied with the script, but the movie has a very competent director. (See the "Bond, James Bond" line from the latest TV spot.) I don't think there are more than a few dozen people on Earth who like Mendes as a movie director as much as I do.

    I think Cubby or Salzman was asked in the 80s what sets Bond apart from the other action heroes, and his answer was, "Bond´s got style" :-).
