The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

DAD was an awful title, but Italian title was great: Death can wait.

I've always had the same opinion.

Have a look at this wunderful blog, with some more serious suggestions...... The man all got his inspiration from Ian Fleming :-): http://www.shatterhand007.com/IDNextFilmTitle.html

I now like the sound of Shatterhand slightly more, but only if it's preceded by "Dr.". So then the title would be "Dr. Shatterhand". Albeit slightly too much "Dr. No"?

Everything To Play For (with 07 under to o on For) I'm thinking whatever they pick has to sound good in the Bond song, unless the name of the film isn't mentioned. However, whatever EON picks it has To Excite And Thrill so the have it All To Play For, so hopefully we won't be waiting forever as Forever Is Not Enough

Shatterhand would make a cool title at some point. On a long enough timeline, I think we will see it happen.

As for the other Fleming titles that site mentions, Shamelady has long been a dark-horse favorite of mine. It's a little, lesser known corner of Fleming's creativity that I hope sits vertically sideways alongside the rest of my Bond film collection someday.

I really like The Writing on My Heart as well. Sounds like a good fit for one of the more grounded, more romantic Bond adventures. However, it doesn't sound particularly Bondian and therefore not one I think the producers would eagerly go for. I doubt the masses would storm out to see the latest 007 extravaganza "The Writing on My Heart" unless it featured Rachel McAdams—and Ryan Gosling in the tux.

I like that blogger's own suggestion of Doomslayer as well. Has a Thunderball-esque ring to it. That very well could have been the title of one of Gardner's or Benson's continuation novels.

Anyone has the idea of a proverb or a British expression that could be twisted into a title?

Funny thing, their names start with the same letters (B&M).

As mentioned earlier in the thread, By Royal Command (the fifth Young Bond book) is a nice title that I hope to see in the future.
