    Just came back for seeing it a 3rd time today. I saw an afternoon showing but it was still packed out surprisingly. Credit they were mostly pensioners but still its a testament to the film after nearly 2 months of being out. On a down side, 2 chavs couldn't stop talking throughout the film! I mean, seriously?

    ...And I just came back from seeing it the 4th time. It was 2 weeks since 3rd time, and I've been dying to go see it again for several days now, but didn't feel physically up to it. Not ill, just ridiculous amounts of sleep deprivation. Today, for whatever reason, I felt fabulous despite having gone to bed much later than planned, and having woken up long before the alarm went off - got about 5 hours of sleep, oh well. I was like a kid on a Christmas eve, which surprised me... I had after all seen it 3 times already. I was really looking forward to it all day, on my way there, when I got there... and by the time that corridor appears my grin spread even wider. I have no idea what the hell that movie has done to me, but I don't mind, I'm really enjoying the ride. :D

    And yes, it was just better. :x Knowing what will happen next and what people will say leaves more time to appreciate how exactly they say what they say, how they move, facial expressions, lighting, colors, details in sets, and so on.

    Damn I love it. Feeling very happy now. Still grinning...

    People see Bond in different ways. There's tons of different portrayals and people like some more than others.

    I've seen it six times so far, i am hoping to see it some more before it finishes at the cinema. I see Casino Royale 9 times so i'm looking to at least equal it. Everyone i have seen it with so far has enjoyed it.

    How many times did you see Casino Royale? just out of curiosity and which one do you prefer CR or SF?

    I just saw it for the second time last night. I was surprised and glad there was a decent crowd despite the Hobbit being released. Now I can't wait for the blu-ray.

    Thanks, @Sharky. I only saw CR three times, but that was out of a lack of money. I was a broke high school kid at the time. Overall, I prefer SF, but after I managed to see QoS a total of five times, I vowed to see each and every Bond film from here on out at least five times or more.

    I've seen it once so far, and admittedly I was a little underwhelmed- partly from it's inevitable hype surrounding the 4 year gap/50 year anniv, and partly from following the production too closely. Now I'll know for next time! Anyway, from what I've read here, Skyfall- like QoS- just gets better with each viewing. So I'm really looking forward to going back for round two- hopefully in Imax this time.

    You're in the same exact boat I was in. In fact, I didn't really want to see it after the first time, because of how underwhelming and, in a way, let down I was. But, I noticed a lot more the second time, and the third time let me realize that this was truly an excellent Bond film. The fourth time didn't hurt, either ;)

    Had seen it 5 times and was a little worried about over killing it, but just seen it for the 6th time tonight, and despite loving it the first time i saw it at the royal premiere, i think this viewing was the best yet in terms of how much i enjoyed the film itself. Which surprised me to be honest, but i guess it shows just how brilliant a film it is!

    I've seen it 4 times so far. The last was in Imax and one of the finest cinema experiences I've ever had so I don't know if I should just leave it on a high at that as my last cinematic viewing of Skyfall or whether I should see it a fifth time... I am itching to see it again...

    After reading through the pages. its nice being able to admit to 7 viewings without the need to blush ;)
    4 in English fortunately and 3 in German, which was not terrible thankfully.

    It wasn't terrible dubbed? Ok, I'm not going to believe that. :P I was watching some Spanish Skyfall stuff - for interviews etc. - and I had to skip the dubbed movie clips... I just couldn't bear it. Totally disorientating and distracting and just plain awful (and I love Spanish). I can't quite imagine watching the whole movie dubbed. Even the subtitles were a pain, even though I tried not to notice they were there. (Thank goodness on dvd I can avoid them.) :)

    No, it was ok and his german voice is fine, too. Of course, he doesn't bring in the fine nuances DC plays with in his voice, but ok to watch.

    Laugh at me, but I loved the way he said "You know the whole story" How he pronounced the word "story" was heartbreaking and then "There is a storm coming" So tender..

    You are clearly stating that I am wrong and that you are right: who do you think you are?!?
    How could I ever forget the Bond franchise? It is part of history. It has been a part of my life for decades now. I just began reading "The James Bond Archives" and found it amazing. I am also a John Barry fan, the creator a the Bond music, sadly put away from the franchise in 1995 - one of the biggest mistakes in the whole series (and made after the departure of Albert Broccoli... - not a coincidence, once more).
    The fact is, however, that the current producers seem to have forgotten what the Bond franchise used to be... Why do you think the 'old' Bond movies continue being so popular?

    I'm not laughing at all. He can use his voice as effectively as his eyes.

    They haven't forgotten. Obviously.
    And why do you think the new Bond films are so popular, Skyfall especially? Many old fans (me included) have been thrilled, and the franchise has gotten lots of new fans from new generations - which is essential, too, if they want the franchise to live on. If you don't like it, that's ok, but it's your problem. The idea that the producers have no clue, or have no respect and love for the franchise is ridiculous and rather insulting - as is any implication that those who love Skyfall (a hell of a lot of people) are clueless or not actual Bond fans.

    Waiting on my friends to get here so I can go for my fifth viewing. I think I may join Bond in having a Heineken during the film, as well.

    I don't. :) The franchise never would have survived if the movies hadn't been making money, and they've always aimed to pleased the audience since the beginning of the franchise - that has been specifically stated. They make the movies to the audience. That doesn't and cannot mean every single audience member, ever, that's impossible, of course. Just listening to the producers talk it's pretty obvious that they are enthusiastic and have a lot of love for Bond both old and new and indeed care a lot. Naturally they can't churn out the same stuff for 50 years - and counting. Change is inevitable and necessary to even survive and keep the franchise alive, but change will always alienate some people. However, successful change will also bring along new fans, as well as make some old fans very, very happy. They've done that. Therefore I'd say they know what they're doing - it's good for the franchise and for the majority of the audience.

    very well put, Tuulia. Certainly Barbara and Michael have love for Bond. BTW @DavisMoore - they are filthy rich already. They could just sit back and do nothing for the rest of their lifes - so saying, all they care for is money is slightly off, I would think and makes no sense watsoeer.

    Second time today or tomorrow- 007 is the only movie I'd pay to see 2x in the theatres.
