    A subplot depicting 007 in New York, in which Bond travels to Manhattan to warn a friend that she is dating a double agent. Perhaps Benedict Cumberbatch as the double agent. The return of Felix Leiter. A wonderful cast. A recurring musical title theme throughout the film.

    I guess a return of Leiter would be nice.

    Don't care about the freaking gunbarrel. Whatever.

    And how about a younger villain, for once? A crazy kid, heir to millions and bent on revenge...or something like this. Would make for an interesting change.

    Skiing! Yes, it has to return. Maybe the Himalayas?

    Sounds pretty much like Gustav Graves. I would rather have a (relatively) older villain, like Fleming wrote them.

    The gunbarrel sequence at the beginning! Yeesh! Comon already!

    Also, Quantum. A Bond contact that is eventually killed by the baddie in some unique and clever way... (haven't seen that in a while). And David Arnold`s music (in the vein of African Rundown from CR)

    I think Bond 24, 25, 26, etc. should stay as far away as DAD as possible.

    Jamaica, Okinawa, Hawaii, Nice, Argentina, New Zealand.
    More of a mystery.
    Back to basics with music, Adele not bad, but Shirley Bassey, Wings, or Tom Jones type fits Bond better.
    There hasn't been a good "M" since Benard Lee. Fiennes may fit the bill.
    How about back to every two years? With three and four years, Craig will age out too early.

    Exploring old M's past and finding a very subtle hint of the a mastermind nemesis that hasn't been scene in years.

    (1) Standard, good adventure (M giving Bond his mission, without personal stories but that doesn't excludes some exporation of Bond's psyche.)
    (2) Some reference to Bond as a Commander (in SF is written but not said.)
    (3) A sky action sequence.
    (4) More interpolation of the title song in the soundtrack.
    (5) Gunbarrel at the start.

    I want to see the villian living in this house. It was once owned by Bob Hope and it's up for sale. This has Bond written all over it.

    I'd like to see a new Bond, and Alice Braga & Jordana Brewster as Bond Girls, but what I really want is for Caro Emerald to have a crack at a Bond title track. I love her voice & style, i'd sell my soul to hear her voice over a Bond title sequence (even if it's a Craig era film). [-O<

    @MajorDSmythe, might I ask your interest in Brewster? I've really only seen her in the Fast & Furious films, and I'm none too crazy about her in them.

    I've seen her in the original F&F film, The Faculty & Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. None of them I saw just for Brewster but while she's not the best actress of her age group, I think she ok and is attractive enough to be a Bond Girl. I'd probably pick Braga for the primary girl, and Brewster the secondary girl.

    my favorite james bond novels are 1. from russia with love ( the movie was perfect so the y shouldnt remake this it would be like remaking the godfather. 2 on her majesty secret service. i know g lazenby did ths one but come on he couldnt act its a shame they wasted this great novel on him this was the one brosnan always wanted to do but they wouldnt let him, i think if daniel did this he would even replace the great sean connery as my favorite bond. 3 you only live twice once again didnt use the novel source material for the movie they couldnt since the whole novel is basically a seq ohmss and they filmed the movies out of order this movie and diamond are forever is what mike myers use for austin powers 4. col sun this is where m is kidnapped, eve in skyfall said something about the new m past, this would be great starting point for the movie just switch the chinese bad guy to reflect racial ira fracion

    in casino royale the former section chief that was bond 2nd kill to become a 00, i believe there was a pic of his family, what about a daughter or wife or son who wants rev not only with bond but england for what they feel as the unjustified kill of there love one

    I think that kill is better to stay a one off, I mean there were enough traitors in the last few movies, for one, and the villains in Bond should have an exceptional nature.

    1.repaint actor's hair to black
    2.more unusual gadgets, new Q hit me with his "originality"
    3.give 007 acura nsx with flame throwers,armor,machine guns,and a special shield that will allow it to ram the wall and other cars

    The third thing sounds goofy, the second one doesn't work for me because I never enjoyed those speciality gadgets that always seemed to conveniently have a very unique use, and I don't mind Craig's hair color. I believe you mean "dye," though.

    Goofy? Well, how to say ... but this is my personal opinion,and it would look spectacularly.
    And Acura would be a good car for the 007

    Does anyone agree?
