Please describe, in the form of a question, a PTS. You get 800 bonus points if you can. I have to do it this way, otherwise it really doesn't work.

    Pre-title Sequences for 400:

This pre-title sequence involves a good deal of scorpions, and actually is part of the story.
  • Tomato, toMAto. I'll leave Games for you so I can hopefully think about the final question and how I might have to bet.

    What is Die Another Day?

Correct, SirHenry. You win the Double Jeopardy round. Tomorrow, we'll have the Final Jeopardy round. It will begin at 3:00PM Eastern US time (hopefully this doesn't confuse anyone, but just in case, I'll send the 3 Final Jeopardy contestants a PM at that time).

There's only games questions left, of which I haven't played much of, so I'll likely cut and run. Stay on to pick the next category though, so we can continue rolling on it.

Are we all finished with the categories? I thought we had some Bond game questions left??
  • Can't stay unfortunately, raising 2 kids and keeping a home running limits my time.

All we have to do is the majority of the categories, until somebody takes a good lead. SirHenry has a commanding lead with 5550 points.

    Y'know what, I'm a nice guy. Here's a bonus question just for you 0Brady.

0Brady's Special Category for 4000 points:

This is the date that Casino Royale was first published.

    What is 1953?

    I felt like being generous.

However, please be more specific. Month and day, as well.

Oh, crap...Well, I have no idea, but it would be stupid not to guess. What is April 14th?

Oh, God... Well, I'm giving you 3400 points, because you got the month and year right, and you're one day off. The date was April 13th, 1953.

No way! I had the month as either April or August, and I think August is Dr. No's(the film) original release, and April 14th was the first thing that clicked in my head for the novel.

I had a moment of weakness. Trust me, if I ever feel I've wronged anyone, I'll give them a bonus question, too.

None of this game is completely fair. You can lose if you have obligations while others are playing, which happened to me when I took leave this week. You have to literally sit like a fool and reload the page every few seconds, and it is incredibly annoying. This format just doesn't work, especially when a person has the advantage of no other competitors online so they have the game to themselves.
  • I agree with all of that as far as limitations and a very loose schedule. Obviously not like your normal Jeopardy type show when played on TV or at home. However, we all missed opportunities to answer questions and gain points while others who were online and we were not. I came in 1500 points behind at one point. Just how it all broke down. We are all good Bond fans here. There are no winners or losers as far as I am concerned.

Welcome all to Final Jeopardy. This round is for the top three contestants during the first two rounds. They are:

    SirHenryLeeChaChing, with 5550 points
    0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, with 5100 points
    and Creasy47, with 1600 points.

Final Jeopardy is played like this:

I will tell you the category, you come up with the answer, and wager any number of points so long as you don't go over the number of points you already have. This means you can either double your score, or lose it. All three contestants can either win or lose this round.

    The Final Jeopardy category is:

    Bond's of Life

    And the answer is:

This is the occupation of the man who James Bond's name was inspired from.

    I'll bet it all.
The man (also James Bond) was an ornithologist.

I hid my answer, as I don't exactly know why we didn't bet first, and then have you give us the question, as it is done on TV.

I sent my answer via PM, all in. I knew it anyway and actually have a copy of that book.

I'm trying to decide if we should wait for Creasy or not... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
