    First the bad which as nothing to do with the trailer, considering the BBC is `best in he world` they milked it just like any commercial broadcaster would, and what was with the amateur hour questions, "does the box set include the original Casino Royale", for the pete of sake!

    Any who on too the good stuff, the trailer just plain rocked, was hoping for some stuff that I'm not 100% sure is even in the film Q and a certain cat stroking bad guy! but I'll be watching a few million times just to figure it all out.

    Well, I've seen it up on the MI6 site and I have refrained from watching it...so far. :)

    I want to see it first in the cinema. This is only because I want to see MIB3. The MIB films are entertaining enough to check out in the cinema.

    This looks infinitely better than any film trailer I´ve seen this year, Nolan´s, Scott´s, the all lot.

    I think the FLASH-CUT, after the doctor asks "Skyfall?" for the first time, is Bond in Turkey, advancing toward a dead agent in the chair. Later on we see the great clip of Bond advancing, back-lit and in silhouette, towards camera and his face emerges out of the shadows. The interior decor matches the brief FLASH-CUT from earlier. I'm guessing here, but I think this is also in Turkey, and is, in fact, the very first shot to reveal Bond in the pre-title sequence. If so, that's a very cool way to reveal Bond at the start.

    Thoughts?

    At 1:15 between the shots of Bond running in the priesthole and the cars falling down from the train, is that a shot of Bond on the abandoned island?

    What... an excellent... trailer. I'm trying not to use any clichés or overreact, but still :O

    Loved every second of it. Like everyone has said, it looks visually stunning and should be one of the best looking Bond films - ever?

    Particular gems: the silhouette target (Moonraker novel, anyone?), Bond floating towards the casino, Eve shaving Bond (hot), Scotland, and the delivery of "we're going to kill them first".

    Even the MGM logo was good.

    If this doesn't pull people in, I don't know what will!

    They also gave us a quick peek at the opening title sequence...

    I started a discussion there by mistake because I hadn't thought to look after this thread here in the main Skyfall category.

    ...I was thinking that Bond is running through a tunnel under SkyFall Lodge, and escaping the blast above? With Silva believing our mans inside and all...!? :-B

    Its a trailer for the film.
    The only way there would be no spoilers at all is if it had nothing in it.
    It doesn't actually give much away.

    Great trailer, the whole look of the film is great, just hope we see enough of the "fun-ness" and touch of comedy we were promised.

    Some of the shots look very iconic and memorable. Bond falling in the water, The silhouette of Silva, Bond on the rooftops just to name a few.

    I liked the music too - would have liked a bit more Bond theme (something that also hampered MI4's trailers not having the MI theme), but I did like the muted 4-bars when Bond is crouching, and then the chopped crescendo.

    Oh my... I'm really stunned by the look of this :O

    Had no idea about the content, I'm a bit shocked by that too (but in a good way). Bond in an interrogation room?

    Watched it umpteen times already. (Luckily I've got the day off work - no, not just to watch the trailer!) Absolutely thrilled to bits with it. Looks so damn serious. As it should, of course.
