Same guy who helped her steal the Tiger perhaps? ;)
    Yahtzee!

Poor guy. We never even get to see his face.

Since we're on the subject of Xenia and GE, does Xenia call Bond a "Biach" during the casino and sauna scenes? I can't imagine her using American urban slang unless it has another meaning in Russian. It's a pretty funny idea though.

she says something like Blyat which is Russian for the f word im pretty sure.

Thanks. I figured it'd be something like that. When I was a kid my friend was convinced Xenia was calling Bond a Biach. Haha

3)In LALD, after Bond is dropped down through the trap door in The Fillet of Soul, Felix comes back and asks what happened to his friend. The bartender than says "this" and makes a quick hand movement before the camera abruptly cuts away. I never understood what that was about. Can someone clarify?

i just watched this one actually, and i believe when Felix asks "Where did my friend go?" the bartender/waiter says "Your friend? Look man.." and then it gets cut off by the next scene....

i always imagined that the bartender/waiter told him that Bond got up and left in a hurry or something.. i very much doubt he would threaten Felix - as that would raise a serious red flag
2)Is Daniel Craig's rebooted version of James Bond a commander in the Royal Navy? Not once in CR or QOS is he ever referred to as Commander Bond and is the only actor to not have that distiction made clear. Afterall it's a reboot so maybe they left that out. However he is referred to as Commander Bond in Bloodstone but that's a videogame.

EDIT: on a side note - i didn't realize how obscenely late i was to this thread, so if i've repeated anything that someone else has already answered, my apologies lol.

If that's the case with LALD than that's just lazy screenwriting/filmmaking. Felix literally just shows up again later without any explanation of what happened. Did they attack Felix too? How did Felix find Bond? How could Felix be so stupid? But then again this was a Guy Hamilton movie and those sort of things were plentiful.

As far as your second answer goes, I asked that question in 2011 before we got the Skyfall trailer that verified Bond's standing in the military.

Than she'll never know how right she was about Bond haha.

MI6 stands for Military Intelligence section 6. Although I believe SIS/MI6 reports to the Joint Intelligence Committee of the Cabinet Office.

Just rewatching GE and it's pretty clear that the guy who helps her hijack the helicopter is a look-alike of the Canadian admiral. There's a that brief scene where the French guy welcomes them on board. Does the guy who intervenes in the fight between Bond and Xenia look enough like him?

i just chalk it up to the writing...

but when Bond takes a ride on the ol' trap door, and Felix comes back..

he asks the bartender what happened - the bartender (like i said before) probably told him that his friend left somewhere in a hurry...

Felix probably waited around a short while to see if James would show back up, he didn't, so he probably left to make contact back with his CIA team, and to report that Bond was MIA.... remember, this all during the time that Bond is being questioned by Kananga and then eventually taken to the gator farm - which he makes his escape via power boat.. Felix doesn't turn back up until Bond is pulling into a marina... he probably knew where to eventually find Bond, because they could've been monitoring the police chatter about a white male being pursued by "black Russians" as the good sheriff would say.

If that was the case than one quick scene showing what had happened to Felix would've sufficed and probably would've aided the pacing of the film aswell.

@DoubleOhhSeven To upload photos you must first upload the picture you want to sites like Imgur or Photobucket. Once that's done, get the photo's exact url and then click the Image button on the comment controls and then paste the link. In the box itself, the picture will not show up, but once you click post, it'll be there.

    Hope that helps!

Does anyone know the real registrations of the Goldeneye/TND Aston Martin DB5s? Specifically the one on display in London's Film Museum.

Why exactly was the Aston DB5 in Goldeneye registered with the numberplate BMT 214A instead of Goldfinger's BMT 216A?

This license plate model for this year starts with the letter L. Even the counterfit ones. ;)

I won't go on the SPECTRE threads, so can someone answer this? Has the full script actually been read by people on these boards? I don't want any of the actual information it contains, that's not why I'm asking. I am just amazed that someone would want it spoiled to that degree.

I'm aware of at least one person that definitely has. A lot of people are suggesting it won't spoil it for them, which I find a little presumptuous given they won't actually know that until they see the movie.

It would be very surprising if they did any major changes. I don't think EON are bothered too much with the leaks. If anything they might consider it good publicity.

No, he lived to die another day.

As tempting as it would be? I won't break and read any of it! I am like DC in CR in the torture sequence with Le Chiffre! Except I don't have the muscles but do have clothes on! :)) I will not ruin the film for me!

I'm going to try and not even watch any trailers for this before I go to see the movie. Will be tough I think, but even trailers these days seem to reveal a lot about the movie, a lot more than in the past.

I doubt it. A prop department could easily make a replica and age it.

I can see the temptation, but we will have the rat of our lives to dissect and rematch the thing. Why not take the one opportunity to be somewhat surprised.

Well I had all the story as it was meant to be told at least once. I won't be spoiled by someone writing, like for Skyfall, "M dies" all over the forum weeks before the release. And now, there are lots of people knowing the leaked screenplay... It takes just a troll to spoil the fun. I choose to take the vaccine. I know what the trolls will know.

Is there any indication that EON is altering the script due to the leak? I would hope not. I would hate to think we'd get a compromised film due to fear of, or reaction to, the leaks.

The leaked screenplay from Dec 1st is already obsolete, anyway, we can see that from the clapperboard photos. There will be surprises for everyone probably.

And well, given some Mendes interview, it looks like Skyfall's first line of screenplay is "James Bond Theme- Gunbarrel". We know how it turned out...

Why are the wheels of the DB5 so dull in these pictures?

Perhaps Aston didn't include chrome back then?
