Could be a defining win in the Van Gal era. United can and will get better.

As a neutral, what on earth was Stevie G thinking?

The Clásico ends in draw after the 1st half, but "they" (Madrid) are deserving more and we (Barcelona) are being lucky and Messi's missing at the moment.

Real have had a far better plan so far. Barcelona on the other hand seem like they don't know what to do, like if Enrique just sent them saying "play ball" witt no game plan what so ever. Rakitic is not up to it on this level, Mascherano and Mathieu struggle on the ball when put under preassure. And Neymar... is in terrible shape. He is having one of his worst games of the season. Messi keeps getting isolated on the wing. They really have to pull themselves together before the second half.

    Exactly, jobo.

Great improvement by us, Barcelona 2 - Real Madrid 1. Phew... Was about time we learned how to win without ouplaying the rival. We have a priceless goalie.

What a strange game! Real Madrid clearly better in the first half, the Barcelona midfield seemed overrun. Then the tide shfts completely in the second half. I don't know what happened to Real. It seemed like they ran completely out of steam. Was it fattige? That early after the break?

Neymar and particularly Messi thankfully woke up in the second half. Suarez was brilliant through out. Pique had a great game, and the midfield worked much better when Busquets entered. Great assist from Alves! But it is worrying that the Madrid midfield is simply better than ours. Who would have thought that a couple of years ago?

    Again, you nailed it, jobo

Such a big difference in quality from their game against MC, they looked fragile tonight against Real. But Suarez really delivered tonight.

Real Madrid are a much better side than City. Its far more difficult to outplay Modric and Kroos than Milner and Fernandinho...

Crystal Palace 1 - 2 Manchester United That was nerve wracking, was a must win game based on current form. If Chelsea beat Liverpool tomorrow that's Champions league qualifying phase secured for United. [-O<

So that's CL qualification secured for Utd already then because there's not a chance of tactically gormless Brendan outwitting Jose at home, much less Mr 150k a week megastar Sterling beating 4 players and smashing it top corner.

Come on Norwich! A draw away is fine by me, just turn them over at Carrow Road next Saturday!

Ha ha Brenda's comedic value is endless, he constantly undermines himself. I have many friends who support Liverpool and they have had enough of what's been going on. Long may Brenda's reign continue

Firstly Good luck to Norwich, would like to see them back in the premiership
    Secondly tough choice coming up
Do the swans keep winning and hope Tottenham and spurs mess up to qualify for Europe. - Which would damage next season as we all know Europe comps do
Or take stock and go for everything next year including a champ league place?

a 1-0 by Bayern looks like an interesting start for the match against Barcelona, which was presumed to be a formality. Nice...

Okay 1-1 should be a killer.

Well the Bayern Munchen task just became more difficult after Barcelona scored 1-2.

3-2 by now with the Germans working their behind of and Barcelona knows it almost has the big price in the pocket.

Im getting a bit tired of watching Barcelona fall asleep when they have a commanding lead. They were far too passive yesterday, and with a bit of luck Bayern could have made the tie much more closer than imagined. Credits to Ter Stegen for putting in a good performance! It has happened quite a few times this season that Barca simply turn off the engine when a result seems to be secured. It is a potentially risky business, like when Sevilla managed to turn a 0-2 deficit into a 2-2 draw...

But it doesn't matter much now. We are in the final! <:-P \:D/ Adding to that the League is pretty much wrapped up and the CDR final is also waiting. I am speechless! Had you predicted this a few months ago, I would have thought you were trolling! :))

Over the moon we put the Ipswich boys out of the Premier League race. All we need to do now is overcome Middlesborough!

Will be a nervous wreck watching my beloved Norwich boys on May 25th!!! :-t

    Congratulations @RogueAgent!

But does that mean there will be no more weekly updates from the Championship on here? ;)

FIFA? What a joke! I hope they all get what they deserve! Blatter should do one or better still be arrested along with the other cronies!

Agreed. While we're at it, strip Qatar of the World Cup. 1200 migrant workers have already died in brutal conditions getting Qatar ready for the WC.

The first sign of wrongdoings in the election process should have been that Qatar won the World Cup bid.

It is not exactly news that FIFA is mess of corruption, bad ethics banditry. However it is nice to see that there is finally an effort being made to investigate it. But the main problem is Blatter. As long as he stays it will be impossible to rehabilitate the organization. And the slimy bugger seems to get out of this unharmed, unfortunately. He is even brave enough to take the credit for the arrests...
