I'm a mod? It just hit me.

We're all mods, and none of us are mods. Modception.

I should know better really, but I'm at least keeping an eye on things for now.

I find myself saying "Bloody hell" at every little startling thing that happens these days. I'm an American. Why should I be saying a British phrase?

Catching phrases from others is a very common thing.

Yes, they are rather contagious by nature.

No. I don't know what the kid is up to. We should start a forum wide movement to wake him up. I have a book to write with him! Perhaps in the summer he'll pop by. That was the last time I heard anything from him was late August of last year I think. I harbour no ill will against him. I just miss his friendship and I want it back.

That's a long time not to hear back. Didn't he also get back to you a whole back? I can fully understand why you are vexed about this. I would be too. Sadly it happens all too frequently in online relationships. I've had it happen to me too.

One Bond man even blocked me on Facebook for no apparent reason. All I did was ask him a few questions about Bond on and off and we seemed to be getting on swimmingly then after a while I noticed his profile had completely gone. Conclusion: I was blocked. I could tell I was blocked as his profile hadn't been deactivated as that would show up in your Friends List. Oh, well.

No, it was all text asking him about a particular Bond author he was friends with. As I say, he was very nice and then after a while he was gone!

I don't think I did anything unreasonable, but there you are! Perhaps he found my presence suffocating?!
