    @ 00Beast- In the annals of history, despite both being Communist countries with similar goals, there has always been a rivalry between Red China and the old Soviet Union. Neither trust the other. Red China's gain was the destruction of their mutual enemies. Besides, they have so many people that losing some along their borders from nukes wouldn't bother them. They have already shown a callous disregard for life and liberty that continues to this day. SPECTRE operates on the same principles, I'm sure Blofeld would have been able to spend his money, there would be plenty of other countries left intact to control and corrupt.

    I don't claim that YOLT doesn't have a few plot holes, but this wasn't one of them to me.

    I think if you put Die Another Day against Quantum of Solace the MI6 Pages would disappear into a Black Hole or it could bring about universal Armageddon :-<

    If you want Die Another Day to win a movie victory, put it up against Madonna's Body of Evidence, or Police Academy 6 or Waterworld or something I suggest

    Spy against Casino Royale does sounds good to me (or more appropriate for sure)

    It definitely does, but DAD doesn't put up much of a challenge. A disease is better than DAD.

    As for the next vote, my heart goes out to Thunderball. TSWLM is great, but I'd have to choose Connery's film over Moore's. But just barely.

    Based on my previous rankings, I vote for Thunderball. This may change later, as I continue my Bondathon, but for now, TB has me for the win. Overall, I can't exactly say why it would beat TSWLM, because if you bring it down to concrete categories, they're very evenly matched. Pretty difficult actually, I wish I could sit and stew over this for a few hours, hahahahahahaha, but I'll stick with my guns here and vote TB.

    I love TB, my favourite Connery film (although I'm rewatching the films so that could change), but has to be TSWLM. It's just so classic.
