Diana Rigg was perfectly cast as Tracy Bond, she was beautiful and was sexy with class. A really underrated actor.
Also I'd love to see that deleted rooftop chase someday, I've always thought OHMSS missed a bit more action in the middle third of the film

As far as I know the footage is long lost and that is a crying shame. I am not sure it would have made the film any better as it comes after Bond meets M at his house. Sounds like an interesting action scene!

I can't think of another lost footage instance in the series as intriguing as this chase...maybe Honey and the (non-moving) crabs?

I don't think they shot the entire chase, e.g. the stuff with the postal truck/train?

We know they shot the scene of Bond assassinating Mr. White but I think Eon's buried that in their vaults. One of the better "What if"s in the series.

I believe they filmed footage of Jinx stealing a CD from Dr Alvarez' wall safe and carrying it to the rooftop edge before diving off. Not necessarily one of the better "What if"s in the series.

Can someone create a thread for those lost footages in the Bond films?

There's also one in Moonraker with Bond pointing his gun while he's on the Gondola (in the actual film, he's not holding a gun at all).

I searched for and found this one @SIS_HQ - from 2012, last post 2015.

    Due for some updates/additions.

Sadly we have to say goodbye to OHMSS, and move onto the seventh EON James Bond film.

Yes and not as out of shape as it sometimes seems.

Maybe if they had reshot the (frankly bizarre, like most of the film) Bond-strips-while-coming-to-bed-with-Tiffany scene from a more flattering Connery angle, we wouldn't talk about him being out of shape in DAF.

Yes, I must admit some of these shots of Connery make him look better than in the actual movie. It might just be a case where he looks visibly a bit older, or perhaps when some of the scenes were shot.

Must say though, Connery's toupee looks pretty decent in this film. It helps that it naturally looks like it's the hair of an older man (slight receding temples and all) rather than what they gave him in TB and YOLT.

    Some other pics.

Was that taken at the same time Connery was filming there?

Jill St. John and George Lazenby (I'm not sure if this was taken around DAF, but there's Jill St. John).

But I think it's set around in DAF, I mean Jill St. John's hairstyle was very much the hairstyle that she had in DAF.

I was remembering those as well, @SIS_HQ.

Trying to rationalize them as related to screen test meetings for DAF before Lazenby truly opted out. Or Jill St. John assisting in a similar way for OHMSS.

Those photos of Lazenby and Jill St. John are like a glimpse of an alternative reality! Excellent.

God Cubby and Harry were determined to have a Bond with sideburns in the 70s, weren't they?

Connery asleep in front of Slumber Inc is a good one. I've come to really enjoy the tone of this film in the last five or so years.

It is a wonderful light film. Not all Bond films need to be FRWL or CR. That's what makes the series special, different tone and yet same character!

That's quite an extensive moon set for such a short scene.

I read somewhere (maybe here?) that there were just two bathosubs made for the film - one that Gray sits in with basic controls, and the one used as a wrecking ball through the control room, filled with concrete.

Or maybe Blofeld was the one who started the Moon landing conspiracy theories.

Sean was like Lazenby at Piz Gloria during the filming of DAF. He was always surrounded by the ladies.

You might also say that Laz was like Sean during the filming of the previous movies, mightn't you?
