    Trying to decipher the statue/words on the signs as we speak! Taking your clue to mean it's on my side of the Atlantic... but not looking exclusively there.

    As Nick is from Vancouver, I guess that courtyard may be in the US or Canada. Let's see, which continuation novel plays there?

    My thought was that it's actually from Fleming, which narrows it down to a few American possibilities. Not excluding anything at this point though.

    EDIT: And since we're about nine time zones apart, unless I'm mistaken, this may take until tomorrow morning our time, which is now about a quarter past nine p.m.

    It's not a continuation novel, oh Striped One. PS: Not saying that you are wrong regarding US or Canada.

    This is the ice rink at Rockefeller Center. To quote myself from Nov. 8, re your 1200 Avenue of the Americas picture:

    It's a very popular spot, and I couldn't pick Central Park Zoo because doesn't even have a Reptile House! ;)

    I know...I also tried to find something to represent Central Park Zoo but found most of it too obvious, in the absence of a reptile house :-).
