    I agree with that. DAF is always my go to film for some unexplained reason.
    This is something that I think is unique to Guy Hamilton’s films. There’s a quirkiness to them (especially with regards to the villains), coupled with sharp dialogue that makes them wildly entertaining. It’s no surprise that he’s the only director represented twice in my list.

    No need to explain ! It's (Jill St. John) fun ! Our familiar actor was back and enjoying it (Jill St. John) this time ! The silliness was (Jill St. John) intentional, and added to the fun ! Ah, yes, it's time to bring a fabulous redhead back to a Bond film, like the lady actor in DAF...oh, what's her name ?

    Same here with DAF. I never seems to get tired of popping that one in the old player. Maybe it's Barry's score or Connery's brisk performance. Either way it's a joy to watch.

    DAF I’ve watched many, many times. Undoubtedly more than any other Bond film.

    Other rewatchable ones for me personally are

    LALD
    TMWTGG (I watched this a couple of evenings ago)
    MR
    TB
    QOS

    Rewatchabllity is a strange concept though. There are films that I think are rubbish yet for some reason I will always end up watching them whenever they are shown on telly. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull springs to mind immediately. It’s really not very good at all and the storyline is all over the place and parts of it are embarrassingly bad. Yet I will still watch it whenever it’s on.

    Prometheus is another one. I hate it, but I’ve seen it many times.

    My most watched are OHMSS, DAF, TND, and CR. There's great fun to be had in all of them.

    I think the least re-watchable films in the series are FYEO, TWINE and in future years, NTTD will be one of the most un-visited.
    And talking of the Ctaig era, I'd rather re-waych SP than SK, though SF is the better folm.
    QoS, I used to watch a lot, even though I don't rate it. It's short, and it zips along.

    Even though neither ranks in my Top 13, I found myself throwing the Dalton films on quite often.

    I'm the same with DAF, it has so many lines, characters and is just an oddball, quirky piece of fun. As a Bond film, and a Connery Bond film it's all over the place. But as a two hour piece of entertainment, it's a joyous ride if you can get over the silliness.
    I have DAD in a similar category. If you can look beyond, it's a fun flick. I suppose MR would also fit the bill. Miles apart from the Fleming Bond, but a whole lot of fun!

    Spectre
    I find it very well-paced, especially given its length, and there are so many scenes and moments I look forward to. The PTS, the Q scene, Bond's wave at the funeral, taking out the two killers at Lucia's house, the Spectre meeting, Mr White...it just goes on and on. So much old-school Bond with a bit of new school flavor.

    Diamonds Are Forever
    While the wonderfully self-aware humor is enough to justify its inclusion here, all of that rests upon a pretty well crafted plot, where the sequence of events has a more natural flow to them than what you find in some of the other sillier ones (hello YOLT and TSWLM). Not a guilty pleasure, just a brilliant film.

    Octopussy
    Imaginative action and suspense that doesn't let up no matter how many times you see the film. The various elements of this film shouldn't really work together, but Moore and Glen pull it off.

    Licence to Kill
    Like Octopussy, I find that most of the action and suspense here just hold up well to repeat viewings. And it has easily the most satisfying and cathartic ending to a Bond film for me.

    The Man with the Golden Gun
    I don't know, I think it's the production design. I just like spending time in this film's locations, interiors and exteriors.

    I don't know (nor care to investigate) when I last submitted my own list to this thread, but I can understand why so many are eager to rewatch DAF. Once you subscribe to the totally satirical mood of this movie, it is a whole lot of fun, with possibly the wittiest dialogues of them all (with the possible exception of MR's lines delivered by Hugo Drax). Yes, everyone knows DAF's shortcomings, but that's why everyone tends to ignore them and just have a good time.

    Yes, that's really far away from other crazy numbers. My numbers are also pretty low among Bond fans (somewhere between 10 and 20 times for a specific film. But still "crazy" for people who aren't fan.

    Of the classics, I have probably seen OHMSS the least. It was, along with FRWL, the one my parents didn't take me to see in the '60s. It was the last one aired on ABC, once in the late '70s, once in the very early '80s (which I didn't even bother watching). My original experience was so bad (with the infamous ABC cut) that even when I finally got a DVD collection I didn't watch it for several years. Like with most fans, I considered it the "Bad" Bond film, starring the "Bad" Bond actor.

    Finally, in the mid-90s, I gave it another go (in it's original format and letterboxed) and was amazed to find I loved it. Repeated viewings only solidified it's place in the upper echelon of Bond films.

    Oddly, with NTTD, the whole franchise and their (EON's) most beloved Bond were desperate to tie themself completely to the legacy of this once ignored entry.

    I wonder what the most viewings any one of us have had with our favorites of the series. I wouldn't be surprised if I've seen GE at least 500 times over the years, if not more.

    I wouldn't have found time, nor even desire, to watch any of those movies (or any other movies) to the tune of a three-digit number of viewings. Even with my favourite Bond movies (and all my other favourite movies) I'd be surprised if I've seen any of them more than between 10 and 20 times. And there are VERY few movies in that range. I have a few hands-down favourites that I've nevertheless only watched maybe three times. To each one's own, but I'm sure I would have been terminally bored seeing the same film 500 times or more (not just GoldenEye, but definitely that one as well), and certainly would have stopped the BD player no later than the 15th round or so.

    Personally, I don't want to know. There is a certain mystique to my not knowing how many times I've seen them.

    Incidentally it’s the Bond film I’ve seen the most. Conservative estimates would be 250-300 views.
