M and MP staring at a screen of security footage. Anyone know where this could be?
so where and what could this CCTV be showing?
Looks like where the scientist is kidnapped. I think this is just before M goes "Where's 007?"

I added a bit to the post.

I think MP is wearing the same clothes as when she meets with Bond again, so where and what could this CCTV be showing? Is this the ruined lab or somewhere else?
I think she's wearing pink when she meets Bond again, whereas she's wearing red here.

    And I don't think so @MattiaDeVarti007...
The set looks more like the scientist's lab/offices:

Of course you're right! I've just seen the screen wall images better

Being James Bond is directed by DC's long-time friend Bailie Walsh. Walsh directed Flashbacks of a Fool.

“Life is about leaving something behind.”
I wonder if Safin dies off himself during that scene when he’s face to face with Bond.

I hope not, but given Bond’s reaction in the music video during that scene, I’m starting to wonder.

    "is she one of them?"
"I don't know her at all"
The way Bond says the line, he sounds heartbroken and betrayed, brilliant delivery from Daniel.
I do wonder about the timeline of this though, you have the film start in Matera with Madeline, then Bond alone in Jamaica, then he returns to MI6. Is everyone still talking about Bond and Madeline 5 years on, or are they all suspicious of Madeline being at MI6?

    He could be talking about
    Nomi

He's wearing the blue POW Tom Ford suit, so suppose it's after visiting Blofeld in jail and discovering she's been working for MI6 all these past years

Am I the only one that wants to follow the promotional unveiling of the film without finding out half its plot? The current thread says "minor spoilers" in its title, but honestly I don't think this means anything to anyone any more. Am I wrong or is there another thread about plot speculation?

Speculation is not the same as spoilers.

Spoilers are infos from someone who knows, not someone who speculates.

    Interesting things to note:
    - Nomi rescues Valdo near the end of the bar fight by ziplining down through a glass dome. Apart from all her other similarities to Jinx, this is probably one of the things she does that really gives the impression she is Jinx 2
    - the 'Final Ascent' of Safin's plan. We see that this connects down to the tunnel that Bond does the fake gunbarrel from. It also opens in a fashion similar to YOLT's final base - a series of ceiling doors interconnected and locked by large teeth
    - More shots of Q's lab, now with MP in her truly Scooby Doo outfit.

Is anyone else disturbed about how Safin says “in love with Madeleine Swann… I could be speaking to my own reflection…” given how old she was when he first knew her?

    Read the following:
Another super critical thing about the trailer is this shot that lasts half a second.
    unknown.png?width=1440&height=607

I think this resembles some sort of freezing container for cells, specifically...
Egg cells. The C word gets thrown around a lot, but could we actually be on the money?

Not to mention the line of being in love with Madeleine, when we know the only interaction he has had with her so far is seeing her and her mother as a child....

Could Madeleine not be the actual, original Madeleine? It's been a theory that I, along with a few other people here have had since 2019, and maybe Apollo was shining on us from the very beginning...

Interesting thoughts. I’m convinced both Bond having a child AND the clone thing are at least somewhat true. The line from the clip shown - not seen to the public - about Madeleine being the “daughter of SPECTRE” makes perfect sense though in this theory of her being the clone. Produced by Safin, when he worked for SPECTRE before at some point falling out with them for some reason (“whoever they are, is smarter and stronger than SPECTRE” - Fukunaga)

Hah! Yes. I just had the same discussion with someone else. Also been reading the other posts and I sure hope it's something like you've all been saying, otherwise, yes, this is very vomit worthy lol.

Yes that stood out for me too; nice bit of 'bitch is dead'-style coldness from CraigBond.

The "You live long enough" line is proper Bond too.

Looks like they haven't replaced the Valhalla? And Nomi's car is still on a 19 plate.

I think Safin is someone pretty inhuman, who through his experimentation doesn't "age". False power of a God, usurper. His name being Lucifer should tell all we need to know about his symbolic relationship to Swann/Bond.

I agree and have always contended that SPECTRE went to the cabin to retrieve Madeline.

Total agreement with this part — she's been targeted her whole life by them.

I’m just praying this movie isn’t super science-fiction like. I hope it’s still grounded in reality despite all the rumors of cloning & genetics.

I hope for the same. Some of it has me worried in that regard but I’ll accept it in the end as long as the film as a whole is solid enough and worthy of constant rewatching.

The translated Korean synopsis gives a little more info:
"It signals the release of a new type of biochemical weapon capable of selective DNA attack."
