Here's my obituary for Terry Rawlings for From Sweden With Love. I was happy to be joined by a Bond legend, Norman Wanstall on that one.

Another Rawlings' memorial, more focused on his work on GoldenEye, has been sumbitted for another very popular Bond site.

Since a single tribute would be too short for such a legend, here goes my second tribute to the late Terry Rawlings over here:

Maybe I should put the two RIP threads side by side in the same section? It does create confusion with one in General and one in Bond Movies. Thinks......

Maybe just slightly change the thread title? They both start with Rest in peace, and it is perhaps easy to mix them up if not reading thoroughly.

He made the most out of that small role. Fine work. I also remember him from The Tamarind Seed and The Long Good Friday.

    Rest in peace

Agree he was memorable, if I recall Pierce was also in The Long Good Friday though I don't think Bryan had a scene with him?

That's right. Brosnan only appears in one scene, though, and only shares it with Bob Hoskins (and interestingly, they weren't even together when it was shot).

It's been thirty years since I watched it, I'll see if I can get a copy. Very early role for PB, it's easy to forget how long he has been acting.

That was quite a big role for Bryan Marshall in Long Good Friday as the slightly drunk dodgy councillor. I also remember him as a baddie in one series of The Knock in the 90s.

Pierce got to bump off one of Bob Hoskins’ team at a swimming pool in an early scene.

Oh, I forgot! I think he shared the screen with Paul Freeman in that scene.

I was surprised to hear about Bryan Marshall's death. It's odd. The first production I had ever seen him in was "The Spy Who Loved Me". Yet, my strongest memory of him was his portrayal of Captain Frederick Wentworth in the 1971 Jane Austen miniseries, "Persuasion".

    R.I.P. Mr. Marshall.

Hedison was the most memorable Leiter, thanks to his pivotal role in LTK.

Sad news. Hedison was great as Felix Leiter in both his appearances in LALD and LTK. At least he had a good innings.
