Great comments as always, ToTheRight! And a really great Bond movie to choose! And thanks for putting up that video on the other thread. Very entertaining! I remember the Sunday Times magazine doing an early full colour photo section on the pts. The first pics I saw of it! And that glorious hot Summer when I went to see it! ( The Savoy cinema boasted about their new air conditioning in a newspaper with "Stay cool with Bond!") Their was an election here in Ireland too, and a candidate saying on a news item, that to take his mind off the count, he was going to see the new James Bond movie!
With all this talk of LTK, its due a rewatch for me, though not in this section as I dont like to miss any of it 😅

Glad you liked the comments and video, @Mathis1. I used to have an Entertainment Tonight segment interviewing Dalton as Krest's death scene was being filmed. So much for avoiding spoilers back then. The clipboard still had the LICENCE REVOKED title, but with the British spelling.
An odd preference on my part, but I always thought the LICENSE REVOKED title looked better with the US spelling whereas LICENCE TO KILL looks better with the UK spelling.

    Interesting.
I have to admit I actually prefer the title Licence to Kill, than Licence Revoked. Am glad they changed it!

In your hands, the longest Bond film becomes the shortest Bond film.

    DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (1971)
Bank Holiday Monday, and its the law that you watch a Bond movie 😆
I intend to view 'The Living Daylights ' later, but dont want to do it here as I dont like to miss any of it!! So here goes Connerys penultimate!

Its a not very flattering intro shot of Connery.
Scene with Marie is a forerunner for the nastiness to come!

Apparently it was cold mashed potatoes that they used for the mud! Poor stuntman, the smell must have been rank!

1971 was the decade that films became more graphic in their violence! Obviously DAF was emulating that!

Bond knows his alcohol, but not his diamonds!

Ah, Wint and Kidd! The part where they walk away and hold hands reminds of the end scene of 'Breaker Morant' where Edward Woodward holds the other prisoners hand as they walk to their execution!

The little Old lady, Mrs Whistler!
I remember being quite disturbed at her death scene later on!

Jill St. Johns Tiffany Case is sexy and tough in these early scenes.
Why they turned her into a bit of bimbo later is a shame!

    The Lift scrap!
Used to love this, and probably thought it was the action highlight!
But its not great really! Nice idea though, keeping it in a tight space.
Action director on NSNA should have viewed this when he staged that all over the shop fight in Shrublands!
