Every scene in every movie should be filmed in Italy.

The Favelas in Sao Paolo would be an awesome pic for a Bond location.

Yes, that would be good. Still need to write up that article on the origins of the NSAA. Hope to get it completed for the 40th anniversary next year.

    Here's mine:
    3. Lebanon (if the bombing didn't happened, but maybe the country is in a better situation now?)
Unfortunately no. I would love to see Bond return to Lebanon (especially since the portray of the country in TMWTGG is quite limited to say the least), but I think it would be complicated for the team to shoot extensively there. The state only provides a handful of hours of electricity and, even though Eon could afford the use of private generators, it would still be quite complicated. But again, I would love to see Bond back there. Maybe they could shoot elsewhere?
    Kazakhstan
Don't know if it will be a very easy country for Eon to go to, but I agree about the potential of this location.

I feel India and probably Lebanon are tricky locations to get right. It's easy to fall into the habit of creating a sort of 'cinematic' version of these locations - particularly India - rather than depicting the location as it is.

I mean, OP does this, as does NTTD with Cuba. Then again I suppose there always will be an element with that when it comes to a Bond film. It's just more emphasised with India.

    My current wishlist:

    1. New Zealand/Australia
    2. Singapore
    3. Bolivia/Peru (lots of really nice landmarks like rainbow dunes, salt flats, LaPaz cable car metro, and Incan runes)
    4. Sub-Saharan Africa
    5. Montenegro/Balkans

Wherever they go, I hope they highlight a (preferably natural vs manmade) landmark. That has not been done in ages.

It'd be great to see Canada in a Bond film and maybe Spain again
As beautiful as Italy is, I hope they don't visit for a couple of films

I have in my mind a decent idea for a Bond plot in Canada.

I agree. How it has escaped being in a major film is beyond me.

What's all this talk about Canada, or New Zealand or Australia ? Have you all forgotten the unwritten laws ? The secret-not-so-secret agreement with the Fleming Foundation never to use such locations ? Is it rooted in the ban against using the content (ie, title only) of TSWLM book ? They flirted with it by having the agent who was duped by the bad guy whom Bond finally located - but did NOT kill ! - be a French-Canadian woman. At any rate, you see, it's just not allowed...

Honestly wouldn't be opposed to returning to Jamaica or even the Bahamas.

I would definitely like to see Bond return to India as well.

How about Seychelles? Obviously it featured in The Hildebrand Rarity but I can't remember off the top of my head if it's ever been a film location. Might make a good alternative to Jamaica if they need a tropical location, and it's very beautiful too...

Specifically India will never give an honest vibe on screen, as you can't smell it and all that garbage just doesn't make for good cinematic experiences

How about Bruges ? Although, let's face it, after seeing M in that non-Bond Bruges film, he might not be able to say the word without the two-syllable adjective in front of it that does not often appear in a Bond film.

Yes. I was the guy with the thing who did that thing that he did when it happened. And stuff. Yes, that was me.

While not set there in the story, wasn't the TSWLM ski jump filmed in Canada?

I figured as much, now it is time to be the henchman that took over after Safin died. Turning the Atomium into a your lair, right in front of NATO's nose, so you can steal a nuclear missile from Kleine Breugel airbase and hold NATO at ransom.

Hmm. Perhaps the story is a bit outdated, with Putin doing that constantly.

Well, perhaps you can threaten by producing laced waffles to unsuspecting tourists, laced with a virus you can remotely control so those poor tourists - all young ladies of course - will bring death and destruction to their home towns.
