Wow, @007Skyfall, I'm jealous of the TB poster. What a great present and family heirloom to have.

Yes I know, my grandpa even met the actor who met Largo too. Why he didn't get his autograph I do not know

@calvindyson I watched your review but still don't get the TB hate?

Heyyyyyy Calvindyson, I was hoping you'd be a member on here sooner or later! Love your review series!

But you don't like Dalton so we must be enemies ;)

I have signed letters from Raymond Benson and John Gardner (and TMFB signed by JG) as well as signed photos of Roger Moore signed and other actors/actresses/directors from Bond films signed. That's the lot, really.

About 10 years ago now my Dad went on a golfing holiday to Majorca with a friend who told him that Guy Hamilton is a regular at the club they were going to be visiting. So my Dad took my special edition DVD's of GF, DAF, LALD and TMWTGG with him and Hamilton signed them for me.

I was thrilled of course, but the next year when my Dad went back Guy Hamilton was there again and he gave my Dad a couple more things to give to me. One was a very nice glossy signed picture of Hamilton (which I now have framed along with the disc of LALD he signed) and the other was his own personal DVD of 'Battle of Britain' (the cover was tatty and appears to have been glued to the actual case but still, I was a happy chap!).

My Dad told me Hamilton was a really nice guy and was very chatty and they talked a bit about golf (but not Bond to my annoyance!) and apparently Guy was a bit upset with the club because they were suggesting, due to his age, he play from the ladies tees instead of the mens!

A very interesting story there. Thanks for sharing!

To answer your earlier question, @007Skyfall, I have the TLD Royal Premiere Brochure signed by a lot of the cast, plus a TSWLM photo signed by Roger Moore. I also have For My Eyes Only: My Life with James Bond signed by John Glen and various prints signed by George Lazenby, Eunice Gayson, Shirley Eaton and Madeline Smith to name but a few. I know my mother has John Barry and Robert Shaw's so I'll be getting those one day also.

Cool @bondsum. It sounds like you are an older bond fan. What person in the bond franchise would you most like to have an autograph from?
  • Only 1 item. A signed CD of the soundtrack to "Tomorrow Never Dies"
I was on holiday in LA and I had only recently bought the soundtrack there when I came across a large crowd. It turns out that Pierce Brosnan was unveiling his star on the walk of fame. Anyway. I manage to have a quick word with Michael G Wilson, Roger Spottiswoode, Michele Yeoh and Desmond Llewellyn and also get them to sign the CD cover. Didn't manage though to get Pierce to sign it as he was being swamped by everyone!

I'm not in control of it, just placing that link there in case a mod decides this thread isn't necessary.

I have quite a few autographs including:

Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Dianna Rigg, Desmond Llewelyn, Cary Lowell, Honor Blackman, Richard Kiel, Lois Maxwell with George Lazenby, and Claudine Auger. Still looking for Daniel Craigs and Eva Green though. ;-)

I had photos of my entire collection on the old forum, but don't know where I saved the photos.

Lucky having Maxwell's and Llewelyn's which ones Auger? If he/shes dead lucky again if you know what I mean.

We spoke about LOTR and his time on The Living Daylights. Said how wonderful the experiences were and how all the cast were great. Had my pick taken too to add to others. He then asked about me and what i did for a living. A real genuine guy and i have to say at this moment in time? Without doubt the most fun to briefly meet! If you ever get the chance to meet him then do! :-bd

Great stuff! It does wonders that members of the Bond cast are thankful for their time on the films.

I got the majority of them through the mail, sent to them/their agencies/on set, and including a personal letter and a return envelope with postage paid and my address on.
Sometimes I included a photo to be signed but mostly I didn't and they provided one (for instance all photos in the frame were sent by them). :)

Yes, I tried all of this back in 2002-2003. I kind of stopped after that, though.

Yeah I was "active" 2005-2006, nothing these days.

Yes, I think you can only do it for so long and then it becomes rather tedious!

Wow, so jealous! Nobody does that anymore, they all send autopens if at all. I managed to get Eva Green to sign "lots of love, XXX" on my CR poster, Ivana Milicevic signed "love" on the same poster.

I had the chance to go to the royal premier of Skyfall at the Royal Albert last year, and have a bunch of signatures, none personalized other than "thanks", "best". Naomie Harris signed "lots of love".
