    She delivered again. You have no idea how pleased I am that she has pleased many bond fans :) I was eager to know what you guys thought! This without a doubt will reach #1. I can feel it. The end was gorgeous! Strong and then brought it down to something sweet and soft. :)

    The only part I'm confused about is the lyrics. You guys seem to understand them more than I do lol I'll have to do my research and watch some movies ;)

    Its such a classic Bond song, and Adele was the perfect choice..

    Lyrics are a touch to repetitive, but in all I love it. Huge improvement over anything since.....I can't even remember when.

    50 years ago Dr.No opened at the London Pavilion in London. The opening titles featured the James Bond Theme, an iconic piece of music that has been used throughout the series and, 50 years later is one of the best known pieces of music in the world. Sad that such a weak, insipid song is being used to open Skyfall, in 2012.

    Just got it. No pre-order email, I just looked in iTunes and the button had changed from pre-order to purchase.

    I see no reason why you doubt that the gunbarrel won't be at the beginning of the film ?
    It was explained hundred times why the gunbarrel wasn't at the start of the last two movies.

    So I preordered it on iTunes, in the US. It didn't auto download for me, but when I went to the store I was able to buy it. Oh well, I got it. That's all that matters.

    Good tune. I like it better than AWTD. YKMN? I don't know.

    No but its got an even better chance that it will be back now. I will be disapointed if its not. But having on the video and not in the film would be a bit daft.

    YKMN fits the tune of CR better (no pun intended). I think Adele sang the "emotion" behind SF perfectly, and that alone makes it a very good Bond theme.

    Like others here, iTunes U.S. didn't release my preorder, but instead just put it out for sale. To avoid being charged twice, go into your iTunes account and look for the "Manage My Preorders" link (near bottom right); click it, then click "Cancel" next to the preorder. (I did it before buying mine.)

    Mine doesn't show any info for preorder anymore. It -was- there, tho.
