    These are the two directors that served the franchise critically in the most consistent way, in my opinion. If I look at my personal rankings, I would have Campbell as a slim favorite due to Thunderball being ranked 14th. Objectively, Terence Young is probably more synonymous with Bond at its core. One mention of respect Campbell holds over Young is that he directed two critically acclaimed films with different lead actors and in their very first outings as Bond no less. The two contrast each other in many ways, showing how flexible Campbell can work. It's very hard for me to down vote either of them, though, seeing as 4 out of the 5 films they worked on are in my top 6.

    i didn't vote. I probably should have from the beginning. But Martin Campbell is slightly over rated. Mendes (SF) , Hunt (OHMSS), Hamilton (GF), Gilbert (TSWLM) have all made (in my opinion) better films than Campbell's 2.

    Maybe over rated was a bad choice of wording. I still prefer the films of Mendes, Hunt, Gilbert and Hamilton over Campbell's 2.
