  • Yello there,

I doubt if anyone here remembers me, but I used to post on this forum regularly before the redesign, back when it was still called "Keeping The British End Up". I joined in early 2008 if my memory serves and had a couple thousand posts. Anyway, I've been quietly browsing the new forums for a while now and decided to make my presence known again. Good to see you all, and I don't plan on disappearing again any time soon, I'm sure you'll all be thrilled to know ;)

Great news and great times ahead @JawsIsAlive. A new film is only months away.

Of course, it's a great year for films fans and an even better year for Bond fans, but I'm doing my best to steer clear of Skyfall spoilers as much as possible.

If you stay out of the Skyfall section, you'll be fine. By the way, a qucik tip, if you view the forums through the Categories view you should hopefully find looking and searching for threads far easier than the default Discussions view.

    Hi all,

While searching the world wide web for stuff on SKYFALL I happened upon this site. It's very cool to see so many people who feel the same way about Bond (literary and films), so joining, for me, was a no brainer.

I'm anxiously awaiting BOND at 50 and, of course, the latest movie. Hope to make some contributions and be a part of the party.

    Ciao- for now.

Welcome @Goldenball. By your username I make a presumption that you are a fan of Goldeneye and Thunderball, or is it unrelated?

My two favorites, with Connery and Brosnan.

    Hello everyone,

I'm a big Bond fan and just can't contain my excitement about Skyfall after seeing the trailer, so I wanted to find a really good place to talk with other fans. My favourite Bond films are Eyes Only, Spy, M'raker, Goldfinger, Octopussy, Diamonds, C.Royale and parts of On Her Majestys. My favourite Bonds are Connery Moore and Craig. Hope I can get my Bond fix here!

    Hi all,

I'm happy to be part of this forum. I'm a Sean Connery Bond fan through and through, but I did enjoy Majesty's, Casino and Goldeneye as well.

Hi everyone! I'm still *fairly* new, and thanks for having me. I consider myself a Bond enthusiast rather than a fan, but the term 'anorak' is equally valid in my case. My favourite OO7 changes all the time, but my favourite movies overall are probably Goldfinger, OHMSS, The Living Daylights - and hopefully Skyfall! ;)

Now about me, if you take the my top off, you will find a little red button. Whatever you do, don't touch it. Yeah, why not? Well, one of us smells like a tart's handkerchief. I didn't know there was a pool down there. Just a drop in the ocean.
Shocking! Positively shocking! Bird never make nest in bare tree and the world knows we are a peace-loving people.

Let's keep it on track folks.

Welcome, and great username. I could see myself asking that question when amongst a pack Bond girls.
  • @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 thanks very much ha ha. Yeah before I approach any member of the opposite sex, he usually pops into my mind. As off putting as that may be!

  • Hi all
I am an ardent fan for the past 30 odd years.I do recall joining the site years back but seemed to have lost the credentials.Would like to meet and network with fans out there. My specific areas of interest are the impact the films had on society, collecting of die cast models and behind the scenes history of the franchise.
Hope to make a meaningful contribution as well as get a varied insight into the Worlds Most Secret Service Agent.
    Am based in South Africa.
    Thank you,
    Rambiritch

Okay, hi all...I have always been a bit iffy about discussion forums as many of them turn nasty - and that isn't me at all. So after lurking around for a while I took the plunge, My name is Dave and Bond is one of my biggest loves. My favourite is OHMSS, followed by FRWL and Goldfinger. Also, i see Daniel Craig's run as very promising. Although he was let down by scripts I also liked Brosnan. So, anyway, glad to be here on a seemingly friendly site.
