That's all nice and fine, but in the end, I said it before, I'll say it again: the next James Bond will be Timothée Chalamet. Quote me on that going a few years back when it's official.

Timothee Chalamet is handsome, but he's too young and a bit skinny, he needs to mature and gain a bit weight first.

I have no actors in mind on who will play the next Bond, I will just let the Producers decide on who will they pick.

Isn't he French/American? Also isn't pretty heavily connected to the Dune franchise?

Yeh, Barbara Broccoli's only recently reiterated that the next actor to play Bond 'should be British'. Ok, 'should be' isn't the same as 'will be' or 'must be', but come on, she wasn't under oath in court so she probably wasn't thinking about being strictly precise. We know what she meant. And look at it this way: 'British' rules out Aidan Turner too, so that should please a few people on here! ;)

I'd like an actor who could balance everything: Grit, Romance, Drama, humor and action.

I'm not sure who, I'm still keeping my hope for the Producers to choose the right actor.

The most suspenseful scene will be whether Bond can stay upright in the face of a strong breeze...

    :))

M: We used to be able to get into a room with the enemy, we could look him in the eye. And now the enemy is just floating in the ether. So, we need someone who can float just as easily to follow our enemies. Bond, are you ready to get back to work?

If he was in Skyfall he'd need a stunt double for the scene at the end where he's standing on the roof of the department of energy and climate building.

Imagine him in a "fight" with Mr Hinx.

Hinx would've kicked the table and Tim would be out the window floating like a doily into the night.

Why bother with that? All he needs to do is say "boo" and Bond would turn green, then white and die.

I'd love to see Bond 26's PTS pick up with Bond in the middle of a mission going wrong. Something to throw you right in the action and see what our new 007 is all about

He is both those things indeed. He is also Timothee Chalamet, which is why he won't be the next Bond.

(To clarify, I like him as an actor. I just think it's such an unlikely scenario to happen).

I wish they wrote Madeline as fun and as playful as Lea is in real life. She has a real lovely sense of humour

And the next Bond would serve under On HIS Majesty's Secret Service.

The next Bond will be very historical, after the six actors and almost 60 years of James Bond working under Queen Elizabeth, the next Bond will the first time that Bond will work under King Charles, the King! And so as the film will be the first film set under the new rule, under the King Charles monarchy.

New Generation and new era Indeed!

So Babs and MGW, make sure that it would be reinvented.

This is very historical and got me excited for the future of the James Bond franchise more!

That's Why I Say Bond 26 Should Be Titled "In Service Of The Crown".

    Someone on Twitter said:
    FOR KING AND COUNTRY
Which I thought was not bad. And you can line up the "O"s a la Casino Royale for 007 if you want.

Given the actual succession line… Bond will serve on His service for a very, very long time.

No kidding. I may never see Bond serving Her Majesty’s government again in my lifetime.

He’s right. Bond needs to evolve from art house directors, like so many around him. A action female director could work. Time will tell.

Hasn’t Kathryn Bigelow always been among the runner ups for directing a Bond film? She should definitely get the gig regardless of her gender.
