    Actually, selling the franchise to any big company is my worst nightmare. Imagine a Bond movie made by a corporation after careful market research? :-O

    Or you can look at Iron Man 3. Comparing a franchise (the tentpole of the studios) and one independent movie is missing the mark IMO.

    Let's forget about the thread title (Disney buying Bond) for a second... If Disney replaced Sony as a co-producer and distributor, that doesn't mean that the Bond franchise would become "disneyfied"...

    Since this is an hypothesis nobody can prove this is true or false, but well, the Iron Man example is rather impressive...
