    and they appear to be using IMAX cameras for this sequence...

    The one thing i am not a big fan of when IMAX cameras are used is the constant aspect ratio shifting when the film is on bluray (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE : FALLOUT) a recent example...

    I really like how Craig’s tenure is bookended by tropical adventures. CR had the Bahamas and Madagascar (actually shot in the Bahamas) and this one will have Jamaica. A nice contrast to the more cold and gray films sandwiched in the middle.

    Terrific callback if so. Certainly explains the state it's in, which I would consider otherwise unforgivable for an (even-relaxing) James Bond. ;)

    Clearly a lot has happened whilst I have been away on honeymoon, so you will find it no surprise at all that I have decided against reading the 2100 plus posts since I last read this thread.

    All I can say is that I like the look of the cast and to be honest am pleased that not too much has been given away? The synopsis is very intriguing so will be interesting. My massive hooray moment for me is that our CIA buddy is back in the guise of Jeffrey Wright. Big thumbs up from me!!!!

    I absolutely love that Bond yacht features a large red ensign so prominently. Nice nod to bonds naval background

    Nope, he's an even Bond. The Naval uniform is for odd Bonds.

    Also going by those new yacht scene stills, looks like they're going for the Nolan approach of using IMAX wherever they can/is appropriate really, and not necessarily planning for extended sequences to be in the format without cutting back to scope (best examples of that planning being The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Batman v Superman)
